It's not an attack I just want to see what you really know about your own religion, since I have taken quite an amount of time to study all religions. I am merely saying a lot of Christians do not know why it is that they believe in their god. I have no problem with people who are Christians and know why it is they follow it. I have a issue with the blind followers.

Bulleta getting deep, sounds like you have a one or two of Nietzsche's perspective on things. I for one, don't necessarily agree with everything said, but you are really are using your brain, instead of falling into the herd.
I was baptizied catholic, but as I hit the teenage years, found a lot things questionable. Now that I'm older, I do see that a child is a human sponge and will soak up any information you put in front of them. Which can create some very narrow-minded views, regardless if it's racist, loving, extreme, religous or whatever. After awhile, we tend to get inprisoned by our routines, or the way we see things (think about it, how often do you take the same road home, or pick up or kids at the same time, grocery shop on the same day), once your brain has trapped itself.... it's a matter of will you break from it, or let them views become concrete. Those concrete views can create those individuals who cant see being a martyr might not be the way to go, there is no reraise for that ***.
So no flaming here, I just wanted to say you got our brains rolling, and I'm glad folks out there are looking at facts for themselves, and finding answers for themselves... thanks for occupping the time, cus NOW IT'S Lunch!

It saddens me how few 'pro-Christians' there are here. More so on how many more are willing to bash Christianity rather than respectfully responding. I won't laugh... it saddens me when atheists disrespect Christianity without understanding first what the bible actually says, as though they know exactly what Christianity is all about.
The true basis for Christianity preaches love, forgiveness, and respect for your fellow man... even if you're not a follower, I think these are points that everyone can agree with.

I live in Utah, which is the Morman capital of the world. 85% morman to be exact. And ill tel you like i tell everyone here. Do not believe in the Bible. See the problem with it is that has been written by not one but many humans. Its like a rumor that has been whispered in the ear of 100 different people. Then you go down the line asking each for their story and listen to how its different. There are slight variations in each story its never told the same way. By the time you get to the last person its a totally different story. Now the new bible has been our for about 2000 years and a lot of it was written after all of the events by men who were in charge and made additions. like the 7 deadly sins are only about 400 years old, and God nor his son has ever spoken about them. And if you guys who think that Jesus was soooooo awesome. Answer me a question. He was told he is the son of god at age 12, then you dont hear from him until 33. what happened to those 21 years? I can tell you :D see there have been new reports and translations of what happened. One of them is him pushing a boy down a well or something. He is not without sin, it was just removed from the record. And you can deny this all you like but thats what you people do. if something questioning or logical comes out to disprove your God or religion then "NOOOOOO you are wrong! (Fingers in the ears) LA LA LA LA LA LA LA". but omfg if you hear there is a crying picture of Jesus then thats real, or mother marry in a piece of grilled cheese, OR OR OR that we can see in the past that you guys F'ed up. Religion says the Earth is the center of the universe FAIL, Earth is flat FAIL, The end of the world is coming FAIL. I say we have an old school bible burning on Jan 1st 2013. Lol ok that was a joke with the burning and such. I dont mean disrespect with being an ***, i mean disrespect with logic. And yes i DO mean disrespect just like you do for telling EVERYONE they are wrong and if we dont believe we are going to burn in hell. You guys dont get it.
