Could you expand on your strat a bit? With several deaths and no songs, your SAM was likely putting out very little damage. Was the COR spamming ranged WS? What BP was the SMN using? An 11 minute v15 Mboze clear with a useless SAM is hard to believe unless the SMN was nearly capping every BP.

I just noticed something, and i am wondering if it's just a translation error in english, the legs, Nyame flanchard are the only piece that has MACC+150 instead of MEVA+150. It's just a translation typo right? Also because now that I look a it there's MACC twice in the same piece, MACC+40 and MACC+150...

Are you sure this was on V15? Mboze has over 2m HP and Predator Claws should deal 10-15k at this difficulty level.

I have to imagine any layout with: Tank, Healer, Cor, Brd, DD, 6th.
The 6th spacing being of more value as Geo than Bst.

It's almost certain that it's a typo.
  • As you mention, MACC +40 is already on the equip

  • The +150 appears between Evasion and M.Def

Has it been fully confirmed that GEO debuffs are heavily nerfed in Gaol? I saw a number of posts suggesting as much, including one from a JP blog, about a dozen pages back.

Now that lag is gone and that we can gather more reliable data, any chance we can go back testing Mboze and Tiiimbeeer?
Quick recap of the tests that have been performed so far


01) It's not elementally alligned
02) Ignores Yaegasumi
03) Ignores Earthen Armor
04) Ignores Scherzo
05) Ignores Migawari (and wipes Utsusemi)
06) ~20 yalms range around Mboze
07) Some reports seem to hint to an unclear correlation between target's max HP and Tiiimbeeer damage
08) There is no clear understanding of how Defense and xDT influence Tiiimbeeer damage, if at all
09) Most people reported Tiiimbeeer being used only under 50% HP, but someone was claiming Mboze used it above that (needs to be confirmed)
10) seems to be magical damage (elemental sforzo reduced the damage to 0)

They were doing savage blade when they had tp. Savage blade puts out really good numbers. Also Garuda can close light with predator claws with swooping frenzy from bst or tachi: kasha from sam. Light sc does good damage on it.

I pulled the logs from a V15 Mboze attempt we did last night. Took it to 32% before it decided to wreck us with Timber.

Like I mentioned in the stream last night unless there’s some kind of bonus dmg multiplier from pets I don’t see how the SC damage helps much overall but I guess dmg is dmg.

I'm beginning to think that your party leader told you V15, but took you into V0. I'd love to be proven wrong with a video though. Such a strange party comp producing an 11 minute kite-strat V15 Mboze clear would be something to see.

We tried V15 Snapweed with COR DRK BRD WHM PLD GEO and he's just gross once he starts spamming tp moves. It's too much to handle up front, and he resists all physical damage types. Even with defensive bubbles. MB setup was just a lot easier.

How much hp it has? Can't you simply helix it down? Btw can't you helix down tree too? If you can land a 10k helix few times, that's like 800k damage in 12min (40% hp on v15?)? Add some zerg to 50% and start kiting with helix and ranged/pet damage at 50%? SMN dd cor run sch brd. Use buffed dd with SP to zerg first 50%. Cor to quick shot and run to Rayke to help landing capped helix below 50%? Helix, cor ranged and SMN bo below 50% while kiting. Or does tree heavily resist magic?

The problem with V15 Raskovnik was killing it in time with physical damage, not surviving. It's got like 65% PDT to all weapon types, a good chunk of HP, and sizeable defense.

Even with SP songs, and other SPs used, we timed out at about 35%.

For us, Barstonera reduced Stink Bomb damage to almost nothing, which allowed us to just melee on the DD/COR/BRD and PLD. Still have to deal with the debuffs and stuff but it made the fight significantly easier.

I feel like to really have made this event scale from solo to 6 man party there should be an entry item for V0-V5 that is 1k segments, 2k segments for V6-V10 and the 3k for V11-15. Then you just get ~1/3rd of upgrade points for 1k, 2/3rds for 2k KI.

It's difficult to test these, because timber is instant use, and there's no immediate indication of when it might be coming.
