Ralph Shortey, former Oklahoma state senator and a county campaign coordinator for President Donald Trump’s campaign last year, will plead guilty to a child sex trafficking offense for soliciting sex from a 17-year-old boy in March.

In exchange for his guilty plea, government prosecutors have agreed to drop three counts of child pornography against him.

Shortey is scheduled to plead guilty on November 30, two weeks before his trial was set to commence on December 5. Sex trafficking of a minor carries a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison, but Shortey faces the possibility of being sent to life in prison for the offense at a sentencing hearing in early 2018.

A man who said he voted for President Trump in 2016 said on Monday that if Jesus Christ told him Trump colluded with Russia, he would still have to check with the president to see if it was true.

"If Jesus Christ gets down off the cross and told me Trump is with Russia, I would tell him, 'Hold on a second. I need to check with the president if it's true,'" said Mark Lee, one of six Trump voters to appear on a CNN panel Monday morning.

Lee said he believes in the president and his mission of "draining the swamp."

"Trump is there for the small guy; he's there for people like myself," Lee said.

Lee described the "swamp" as "the mainstream, the elites that look down on a guy like me."

Ruben Estrada, another panelist, also spoke about the importance of draining the swamp of political elites, referring specifically to the House and Senate.

"You make it more accountable to the people," Estrada said.

Lee said that he doesn't believe having multimillionaires in Trump's Cabinet is counterproductive to Trump's "drain the swamp" message.

"I love that," he said. "They're not politicians."

Sorry, child molestation is far worse than anything leveled against those two.

Franken's sexual assault was substantiated and there are photos.

Moore has a single person accusing him of kissing her 40+ years ago. He has flatly and outspokenly denied the accusation and his accusers have provided zero evidence. The sexual misconduct accusations against Moore have the exact same weight as the accusations against Menendez, both are he-said she-said with no evidence to corroborate.
