I trust Verlander but the Astros bullpen is terrible.

I'm pretty sure the gameplan is get runs early and Verlander pitches 9 innings.

Sounds great. That plan worked out fine for Kershaw and the Dodgers in game 5.

How bout all this juiced ball controversy?

Quote:
“It’s 100 percent real,” McCullers said. “The balls are different. I don’t know what the difference is. If you write with a No. 2 pencil 10,000 times and someone gives you a pen, you’re gonna know the difference. This is our craft. This is what we do. We know. We feel the ball. Something has changed.”

Various other pitchers agree, such as Verlander, Keuchel, Brett Anderson, Brad Ziegler etc.

Its sad that MLB decided to use different baseballs for the WS, you can see the effect its had on guys like Yu Darvish and Ken Giles. Both teams have had to deal with it, but the fact is, in their quest for more offense, MLB has left a black mark on this World Series.

I think it is a business decision and baseball is an old man sport mostly. They got to try to get a younger audience to watch...you can not agree with it. But that is why they would do that.

Whether you like the NFL or not they do adapt to what the audience wants. And most football fans want to see high scoring games with a lot of TDs. Not a defensive battle with field goals...

Up next Pennsylvania Tuxedo by Dogfish head:

A pale ale brewed with Pennsylvania spruce tips."; "Pennsylvania Tuxedo pays homage to the flannel-suited hunters and gatherers who dwell deep in the backcountry of north-central PA. Brewed in collaboration with family-run outdoor clothing company Woolrich, Pennsylvania Tuxedo has a grassy citrus kick complemented by the resinous conifer notes of fresh green spruce tips

If it wasn't for the early 1900's they would have never lost the lead.

[quoteThe truck driver has been named as 29-year-old Sayfull Saipov.
He mounted the West Side Highway bike path at 3.05 pm on Tuesday afternoon at Houston Street
Then continued southbound for 17 blocks, mowing down pedestrians, runners and cyclists
He came to a stop when he crashed into a school bus at Chambers Street and then hopped out of the truck
The man was then seen brandishing two fake guns before being shot in the stomach by an NYPD officer[/quote]

This is not what was being reported earlier. It was being reported as a domestic incident for hours. The MSM has just now started spinning. Ridiculous.

The fact that you cannot see the difference between these two statements says it all.
