Logical Fallacies and Circular Reasoning

russia hacked the election machines!! - disproven
russia influenced the election - unsubstanciated
russia has done bad things in the past and is therefore bad - irrelevant
russia did business with someone that works for trump so he is bad - it's not illegal to do business with russia

that completely legal association with someone that legally associated with russia somehow makes trump a bad person?

and therefore that means trump used russia to win the election.

No it hasn't always been that. No one gave a damn about any of this because no one thought trump was suppose to win. Now that he did in the rush to avoid blaming their own party and policies, democrats and other establishment hacks have fabricated a scapegoat (out of thin air) to instead pin their loss on.

The IC thinks Russia likely did it, but they have no proof. They think whomever did it wanted to help trump simple because Wikileaks never published anything that hurt trump. There isn't anything that connects those two elements of this story. No one can prove Russia hacked the DNC, and no one can prove whomever hacked the DNC did or didn't also hack the RNC, and no one can prove how any of that information that was hacked ended up in the hands of Wikileaks.

Some disgruntled DNC staffer could have done it all because he was *** at how the DNC was railroading Bernie.

You don't get to just selectively investigate someone's ties to Russia. You need probable cause.
