Sorry to hear that, the same thing happened to me in a different way. Some guy offered me 200k to help him solo the sleepga II NM, I agreed, I killed it, the arrangement was that after he sold it he was gonna pay me, after I asked him for the gil after I saw he had sold it he blisted me and that was it lol, since than I help no one that has offered to pay me, unless I get the gil first. Lesson learned lol.

I just don't charge for help. If I don't wanna help, I just say no. Money won't change my mind as I probably wouldn't receive it.

That pld that got screwed, the min Quartermaster was set to someone else...i would have disbanded personally, It was Prizewinner who was helping him originally, so F him and Vertighost, screwed up ppl. They could have easily came back in 8 or w/e hours to get their own etc...Bad form indeed.

yeah its only a game, but theres no need in being a retard in the game either, ppl play to play this. Alot of ppl in this game will help others no questions asked, some dont even ask for payment they just do it. Its a disrespectful thing to do to screw over someone who ask help from, especially if you offer to pay them and then act like a retard.
