But congratulations on playing the '1 75' card.

No offense, but it's actually a relevant point. The people on the opposing viewpoint have a lot of 75s and obviously (matter of fact, not out of spite) have more levelling experience.

So in that case, you would of quit the game if SMN burning was never discovered?

I have no idea what you're talking about.

I really hate to break this to you. SMN Burning was discovered at least 5~6 years ago (This was the first time I heard of them). Now, it's much easier to do though.

EDIT: And yes, as Woo says, the people that are "arguing" with you have multiple 75's. I haven't SMN burned any of mine, with the exception of 10 levels on my SMN. So yes, I know what the grind to 75 feels like.

I've made PT's, I've solo'd before and after they increased the EXP from EP and DC mobs, I've also been invited to PT's.

The main premise is level sync... Unless you mean fighting different mobs?

In that case it's a totally different scenario.

(and just a fun little tidbit, i've been playing for a long time, but been lazy to level up multiple jobs.)

Side effect developed based on playerbase. You can easily blame playerbase for why it takes me forever to level a job. That's just goes along the lines of telling someone how to play the game when it's their money.

Ya I suffer because of this playerbase which is why I'm always going to think 8k/hr is better than nothing.

The point I raised was preference in parties, and I meant that someone with more 75s has been in more than someone with 1 75. That's not meant personally, or as an insult, just as a matter of fact.

Levelling multiple 75's doesn't give you an excuse to be an *** to your party. If you make the party or find the rep the fair enough, but if you just leave and say the party is bad, then simply put you're elitist.

But if THF could output the same sort of damage as some of the two handers, you wouldn't have this problem in the first place. The problem roots back to the developers.

Which both me and Vegetto stated we always do. I've never just left a party in my entire career... And even if I think a party is bad, I don't tell them. I just find a rep.

THF was just an example and we both know there are many other jobs that suffer the same fate. I can't blame the developers 100% because it. They did make an expansion that made easy exp, but it's the playerbase that grow to love the greed and diss the rest of the jobs out there. Fortunately there are those that feel it's a problem and invite said jobs still.

When did i ever say i haven't gotten a rep. Yes, I do leave. I don't just /pcmd leave. I get a rep then leave. If there is no rep, i give a 15-20 min warning for whoever the pt leader is to find a rep. If I'm leader, this won't be the case, as I don't make fail pts to begin with.

So you'll gimp a party if there is no replacements?

And I find it hard to believe you've never made a party that has failed for a random reason such as the Cor or brd not being quite as high calibre you like, or various other things going wrong.

Not at all. I just disagreed with your view. There was no anger in my argument, I was merely expressing the point of view from the opposing player. If there isn't a replacement, I'll tell the leader I have to leave and I'll wait for somebody to come online. A few minutes waiting for somebody spares a lot of feelings, so I have no complaints doing so.

Fortunately there are those that feel it's a problem and invite said jobs still.

But the problem wouldn't be there if the developers, in the first place, made a balance for jobs. The playerbase can only come to habits based on what they have to play with. If THF, PUP, etc, could deal near-equal damage to SAM, RNG, DRG on birds, it wouldn't be a problem full stop. You can blame the players all you like but this is down to the developers; at least, it's the root of the problem.

As for the last sentence, "Fortunately", levelling a job that isn't preferred in parties is part of evaluating the job you want to level. Before I levelled BLM I was warned it'd be slow and laborious but I understood that and stuck with it... And I most certainly did not hate every party that didn't invite me.

From seeing how Veg and Wooooood are on these forums, I can say they play with etiquette. Veg said he'd find a rep before dumping as it's not proper nor fair to just bounce. It's up to the pt to follow up and see that he bounced for a better pt and make their opinions about him after that.

I for one wouldn't care less as long as the pt is still going.

Woooood and Veg probably do play well, but when Vegetto comes into a topic and says he'll just leave if the pt isn't good enough, it grips my gonads.

Like I said, if you find a rep then I have no problem at all.

Also, this went majorly off topic.

If i make a party that doesn't meet my standards, it's a 20-23k/hr instead of the 30k/hr i was aiming for. It's never a 15k/hr for example. And my pts are for the most part failproof. I run around town w/ ap-radar up and filter out PC's and check individuals before I invite them to pt.

And yes, I feel 20-30 mins is enough time for the leader to find a rep (if i haven't found one myself) or make arrangements to move camp (as this is easy now days because they can simply invite someone lower and sync to them)

Let's use mnk for an example

a MNK can't get merits to get better to get into merit parties.

What salvage shell is going to accept a MNK with no merits?

So then the MNK has no USU, So he wouldn't be invited to your PT

So the MNK doesn't get Merits.

It's a loop.

I think you just need to accept that some players have higher standards than you. No reason to hate them.

If you care enough about mnk, you will do what it takes to get the items needed for it.

You would be shocked, most endgame shells will sell these items sincemost in the shell either have it already, or no desire to have it.

Really, I expect a MNK to at least be WORKING on getting prob the best piece a MNK can own.

Don't you feel slightly, and I mean even slightly bad for the person who's trying their best but doesn't have a BB?
