2021 Mog Bonanza
Most certainly. With KClub though you can afford WS over 2k tp. Not sure if it would be optimal though XD. 70DEX and 20STR is kinda a lot

I think kc wouldn't be good simply because offhand hits on WS are super important for this WS and with KC base damage they would do like half of damage assuming they would connect at all.
I think this sword would be mostly broken on RDM, BLU, THF, WAR. I will do some math later at night. Asura.Kronkeykong

I am now working on testing with boost spells (soon as I can find a WHM with 500 enhancing magic). I'll turn in my info to the number crunchers and try to help best I can if they need more info. Can you offhand it? Assuming you can’t but it’s super important info being able to skillchain with Naegling LOL Offline

Can you offhand it? Assuming you can’t but it’s super important info being able to skillchain with Naegling LOL I'm with contact with Sharkkie and asked him the same thing. You can't do Fast blade II with Onion in offhand. He also have done some tests on lv1 mobs like I suggested and for now it looks like it's matches up jpwiki, but fTP at 3000 seems even slightly higher than 5.0 more like 5.2 He will probably post those results at some point so it can be double checked by other people. Can someone get some Dragon Blow data out there? I'm dying over here
using Japanese results with blu stats, since that's something I already have a module for and this set:
ItemSet 377941 Artificially capping accuracy and attack and random TP values between 1000 and 1500, I get an average of 29123.1479. Savage Blade using a pretty standard set under the same conditions with OB3 main I get about 29641.0768 Offhand Zantetsuken for any non-thibron case. 29123.1479 + 29641.0768 + 29641.0768 * 1.16 = 93147.873788 (OB3) 26684.9041 + 26684.9041 + 26684.9041 * 1.16 = 84324.296956 (Tizona) 30378.7993 + 30378.7993 + 30378.7993 * 1.16 = 95997.005788 (Almace) That would put it about 10% better than Tizona two step and about 3% worse than almace two step Without Thibron, capped attack AND accuracy, it isn't worth considering over current options. Three stepping FB2 > Savage > CDC is worse if you are able to perform 3 two steps vs 2 three steps. Offline

Do you model offhand hits and offhand MA proc on WS with lowered base damage from Thibron?
I assume thats Tizona 2step with CDC>CDC? I think Almace offhand would do better than Zant then no? I also assume you limited this to light 2steps only? Because otherwise Requiescat > Expiacion with Tizona could probably beat all of those. I also think that at some point between 2000 and 3000TP, +2 neck and Sailfi/winbuffet+1 could beat Fotia options for FBII. I think the weapon is better served with two DD, one using FB2 and the second using Savage with Naegling. Particularly two of the same job so the acc requirements are similar if utilizing thibron offhand. Offline

Do you have whole dps simulation? Unless maybe AM3 can pull Almace ahead in some glass cannon max damage tp set. not for DW jobs yet, I've been lazy about it.
I think almace is pretty underrated, but hard to give up the MP recovery for DPS in most scenarios. other jobs that get savage natively, specifically corsair, will get a lot of benefit from it, though. rdm too i think, since it lacks the crit damage that blu can get or other strong closer, and can still use tp bonus situationally.. fencer war, and tp bonus axe offhand situationally. Glad to see Sharkkie is coming through for everyone. Apologies for anybody who was waiting on information from me, but life hit me pretty hard recently.
Or technically, I rear-ended life (according to the police report). We're baaaack!

Yagyu's AoE Utsusemi is interesting, certainly could've used that during the Qutrub Ambuscade. Not sure how much it'd change in the Real World, though.
if i were to win, hands down, IM GOING NINJA WEAPON.
that ***is game changing. its 2003 again boys. (anyone who remembers utsusemi before it got patched remembers when ninjas were op af in the dunes due to utsusemi tanking all the stuff EVEN AOE MAGICS) Offline

Shield is OP. Full time Berserk without Berserk recast merits, longer Warcry, Blood Rage, Haste Samba from /dnc. Full time Killer Instinct(?). Also very good for JA from sub, like Berserk from /war or Pflug from RUN. Also great stats for magic WSs. That longer skillchain duration is cheery on the cake. Kinda ironic BST finally gets great shield walled by *** bonanza.
Chocobo Knife is great as defensive offhand, but not worth it when you can only choose one.. Katana is OP and I can already see Logical being both excited and frustrated. Brave Blade III can be OP or trash, because something like +50% PDL on DRK could be OP for Resolution spam with right buffs. Flametongue another great offhand, but wont beat Thibron for 95% of the game. Wizard's Rod is nice ofc, but its nothing unique, just more stats. Unless this Occ casts spells without using MP is like 50% rate. Also probably the best for SCH, because you can focus more on pure MAB/macc in MB set maybe if that Magic burst bonus is big enough (RDM and BLM would probably still Ea +1 anyway). Offline

It doesnt make it block AoE. It makes Utsusemi applies to party members. Just got FF12 PTSD from Yagyu Darkblade
SE still pushing Tankurai i see
See how they put the Shield and Save the Queen on the same raffle.....
EDIT: because people would have won 2 1st on the same character anyways. Offline

SE really missed the boat on Exeter. RNG already caps Recycle with just traits/merits/relic+3 head. Now, had it worked with the DI ammunition, we'd have quite the interesting weapon. Pair that gun with the Hauksbrok Bullet, and you'd have a gun/ammo pairing with slightly lower base damage than Armageddon, STP+10, AGI+70, and MAB+30.
Then there would be some very interesting debates, indeed. Damn dat shield doe.
And, of course, the spear is incredibly mediocre. Leviathan.Celebrindal

If i won rank1 id be very tempted at the gun just for a lockstyle piece, it looks amazing and should have been Fomals model.
What the heck, these weapons are so weird. They even creating new models for them, this is where their resources are going I guess.
