I'm aware of the voting demographics in this country. However its very, very amusing that kireek is trying to reshape it by sheer trolling.
The voter demographics that tend to vote Left in the US got Trump into power? That makes sense.

You would think that under educated people and poor people would vote for people that would "lift them up" as it were. But they don't. They all think they're just one day away from hitting the lotto and being rich.

Again, the poor overwhelmingly voted Clinton. The high school or lower demographics didn’t have much disparity, nor did the college grad demographics. The big push for Trump was in the “some college / assoc. degree” demographic. Not “uneducated people”.
The idea that people with some college and associates degrees qualify you as educated. that's a good one.

Did you just contradict yourself in the same post? Besides I never said anything about intelligence. “Educated” in a discussion about demographics has an actual meaning. You can’t just throw the word around and expect us to interpret your personal definition of the word.

Sure, but to bring that to an argument is pretty lame. Saying, “Only people who vote like me are educated!” is the worst kind of argument because it removes all facts and statistics, changes the definition of words, and puts you 100% in the realm of opinion.

Yeah, but who decides that? You, that’s your personal view on right and wrong. When you put it on terms that are pure opinion, “you” are the only source of your argument. You can’t challenge anything else if there is no foundation of facts or data to begin with.

We could do a lot of greater good with it. This pandemic? it'd already be over. Deception in politics? Thing of the past. Pollution, litter, greed, war, violence of all kinds, they're all tied to someone being stupid.
I'm not going to write 10 paragraphs outlining what makes someone wanting to be greedy stupid. You're just going to have to understand it at face value and not argue about philanthropists etc - if there's no greed there's no need for philanthropy.

I think the loudest complaint has been private debt collectors can go right into your bank account and garnish the stimulus checks. These are certainly extraordinary circumstances by any metric, so we should pump the brakes on that a bit.

Makes sense in theory, but wouldn't it be difficult to differentiate stimulus money from other money when the garnishments are on bank accounts in general? It would probably be taking it too far to say that no garnishments can take place whatsoever, so what you'd probably end up with is an extremely convoluted middle-ground law.
Paying a debt doesn't help you through this tough time. Shouldn't be able to do it at all.
