Finished reading the entire thing, and wow did Oklahoma piss off Gorsuch. Apparently their arguments boiled down to "we've been doing it like this for over a hundred years, why can't we continue doing it like this".

That kind of thing isn't going to fly with any Federal judge, and they tried that with SCOTUS? It shouldn't have been as close as it was.

One of their arguments has a kinda sort valid point, that Oklahoma becoming a state nullified the previous treaty with the Creek Indian Nation. The dissent largely believe that because a state encompasses all the people within it's boundaries, the people of the Creek Indian Nation were folded up into Oklahoma. The majority responded that since Congress signed the treaty, only Congress can unsign it.

This is the key, though; Gorsuch in particular is a "the word on the page is the law, full stop" kind of guy, so "how you're doing things" doesn't matter at all until it's in black and white ink.

The ruling was narrow enough that I don't know if Congress will even bother changing the treaty/law.

Certainly not the current Congress.

I like the Gorsuch mindset. We have enough "well what the Founders really meant was..." going on in the courts. If you don't like how it's written then stop being lazy and fix it.

I saw a story day before yesterday where the media is already working the angle to defend Bubba Clinton's frequent contact with Epstein. Where this info was prior to her arrest, no idea, but...

They are claiming that Clinton had an affair with Maxwell (of course, they also claim Hillary knew about it and kind of implied she approved). The article claimed, "Maxwell and Epstein were so close, if you wanted to be around Maxwell, you just HAD to inevitably be around Epstein frequently." So, now once she coughs, if she does, the media will spin it into, "Well uh, of course Clinton was around Epstein a lot, he was dating Maxwell, not fondling teen girls."

And since they've already shown that infidelity with a (D) doesn't matter to them, it will become a non-story in one week or less.
