There isn't a hard cap on the potency that we know of. The goal is to get as much potency as possible. That's done with the effect+ pieces then using highest skill+ in the remaining slots. Boshi already shared the ideal set. As far as the Wave2/3 Bosses from Dyn - D you can land the spells in full potency gear pretty easily. The wave 3 NM fomor have higher resistance.

Isn't the hard cap for Distract3 -130eva and Frazzle3 -130meva?

The cap from Skill and dMND.

Enfeeble effect + is different.

Distract caps at 120

I thought the cap for distract 3 and frazzle 3 were 130?

120 from skill and 10 from MND

@ 610 (enfeeble skill) distract3 = -120eva
@ 625 (enfeeble skill) frazzle 3 = -120meva

both can gain an additional -10 from mind.

My goal is to cap the skill portion (610/625) with a healthy balance of skill/potency/macc

I think Boshi's set is abit weaker on the macc side?

Enfeebling Magic effect is just a better version of enfeebling skill?

Or is it applied like saboteur?

You're right about the 130.

However, according to the wiki, they both have the exact same formula for potency. So both should cap at 610.

It's a separate multiplier for potency. Each +1 is +1% more potency. It works even at capped skill.

Here's the equation from bg

Quote:
((Base Potency × Saboteur) + (dStat Mod)) × (Enfeebling Magic Effect + Gear)

Wiki is wrong; we don't have the formula for Frazzle III, but we have confirmation from the devs that it caps at 625.

update notes say they fixed

an issue wherein "Enhancing magic effect duration +n%" properties augmenting the following items would, under certain circumstances, not activate.

Duelist's Torque / Duelist's Torque +1 / Duelist's Torque +2

Fix confirmed...so glad it wasn't "working as intended"

So basically it was really meant to be Enha Duration but it was wrongly implemented as Enha RECEIVED duration?
That's really good news for all RDMs, a bit less for my wallet I guess.

Someone put me in cryo sleep so I can wake up in november 2019 when the price will be ~50 mils.

Does anyone have an updated timers plugin? With the neck change it's not reflecting the true duration. Would be greatly appreciated.

Am I the only one that's thought about the hilarity of using Crocea Mors Path C? Unresisted, our En-spells do what? 600 Damage? With this thing, it'd be 3,000 Damage per strike (any possibly for 5x Enspell Damage in both hands? Probably not right?)

Not considering it for top DPS or anything just thinking about how funny it'd be to just Wolly-Wop things for 1000+3000 per hit lol.

I'm also thinking this is amazingly funny, but unsure if I want to run that path over a more serious B path lol

Very true.. The B Path would be far more obvious a choice... If you change paths you have to do the Process over again I'm assuming? Shouldn't be that big a deal for someone in an Active Endgame shell but anyone else probably a major pain.

Depends on what you're fighting, really. Enspells have terrible Accuracy but if unresisted, should yield 500+ with a proper Enhancing set behind them. Enspell-IIs a little higher but the way SE did those are *** so feel free to disregard.

*Edit*
The last time I went playing around on RDM, I was unresisted on everything up to I think 120~ Mobs? Like EM or low-T but that's it without some sort of buffing. Going purely from memory here, wish I could be more helpful.

**Edit 2**
I was messing around on RDM last month and noticed the Enspell damage was high as hell on normal mobs. Probably something to do with the Magic Damage+ On the sword adding into the formula in some way if I had to guess. Following the formula on BG, 600 skill would land you somewhere around 77 per hit. It was strange because I don't remember it ever being that high before but at the same time, I couldn't even remember the last time I melee'd with RDM so I never noticed.

only 120? I'm at work or I'd check but I was doing Dimgruzub for sparks last month and my Enspells were doing 2500+ (even for Dimgruzub, that's stupid high) so after it died, I went around smacking lots of things for 550~600 per hit. Nothing impressive by DPS standards so I just figured it was some patch made to beef up Enspells that I overlooked at some point. Or was it some sort of fluke that's been patched?

Just went out (without bothering to take out my real enhancing skill set), and enspells are doing 95 on unmodified unresisted hits.

Cool, was probably just some random fluke then. Exploiting Enspells not nearly as entertaining now.

If you using battlemod, maybe all enspell dmg hits were put together into 1, resulting into a higher number, that's the only thing that comes to mind that could happen lol
