Briareus is gonna take long time NIN/WAR, you cant stun Merc Strike abd if he does 1111 dmg he 2hrs and does Meikyo Shisui or w/e then you gotta hold it till your HP regens back up, same with Pantagreul and the RNG NM(forgot name). If you can't stun TP moves they get spikes and you gotta turn and wait for HP. /DNC you can just stun all TP moves and and go GH/RR/Apoc and kill faster. Briareus never gets a TP move unless violent flourish misses. KIs just deaggro mob and retry red procs once it resets.
Just seems that Tobi 2 is easier to get maybe I am getting impatient and war to use blade hi already?^^ I have full weapon skill set except Hachiryu boots and storm rings

Never fight Briareus without a THF anyway. I'd always persuade a THF to come along /whm for Briareus and then it's easy.
Its gonna take awhile but don't get Tobi, Kannagi is easy to get, you dont need a LS to get it.
I may try Natenn's strategy and flux to reset red Proc but honestly is Tobi2 really that bad?
Only because Kannagi is relatively easy to get.

If I go tobi2 route i may finish a few more "mini Emp" weapons as I am half way through at getting decay for Sam and Glory for Tobi also have many ruin but those are pretty much garbage lol yet I still won't toss them just on case.

2nd stage is easy - people will come for drops. The hardest part of any Empyrean stage is just to put your head down and keep working when you're at the depressing first half or so of the trial. It will happen!

Helms are the problem. Sobek is easy as hell. Just /sh for Sobek farming Stone/Card FL, Skins reserved. Get a WHM BLM THF and WAR with The red procs NIN/WAR can't do. Get a BLU to and a BRD or have BLM sub BRD. Sobek took me 2 and 1/2 days like this trust me.Ppl will help you if they get someting out of it, Just make sure you on top of Gukamatz till you got 3 KI at least. 1-6 EST PM usually no one there but my group when i went.

Outside abyssea, ws dmg+10% katana isnt gonna be a whole lot worse than WoE path.

WoE weapons do not get the aftermath. Only access to the ws.
