looking for a little boost on my current TP setup outside of Epona's Ring, Atheling Mantle, and AF3+1 body, since I already know those are my upgrades.

The Yataghan is a DMG+5 Crit dmg +5%, can't seem to get the *** who trades these for Dom Op Notes to give me the DMG+6 crit+6% yet, but I'm working on it. Any suggestions?

Get a better dagger. Like triplus or str or empyrean

suppa or *** almost anything but that kemas

More af3+2 for set bonus or maybe just gear in enough haste so that you can use the DW belt and still cap haste.

Even an att back would be better. Most are cheap now.

That should pretty much be the best mainhand dagger beside relic/mythic/empy right?
After over 80 tries I have yet to get a proper augment over +6 Dmg +5% Crit dmg, but I keep trying.

Of course Yataghans will fall back once lvl 95 comes out and newer daggers, newer trials come out/

Not really. Pretty sure str dagger beats it. Dex anytime acc matters.

Also it's somewhat about better combo than mainhand.

Triplus. Probably rapidus even if you don't need the haste or acc. Are better offhand daggers than twilight usually and twilight would probably be better than using that yata

Ya, I'm not trying to straight beast my THF, its not my main, I need to get a Suppa anyway though. STR and two AGI Kilas are in the works, just have to get off my *** and work on them some more rather than level my BRD like I have been. Was looking through the SS and saw the DMG+8 Crit+6% Yata, but I won't charge after it since its rarity is probably up there with Kclub drops (orz). We'll see what happens.

Looking for help on my tp set. I know obvious upgreades like atheling mantle and the ring from Raja the name is escaping me right now. The yataghan is Dmg +6 and working on str and dex daggers when I can catch the days anyway... Thanks for the help in advance.
Edit: also going for triplus dagger when my lowman group gets time.

Just curious what would be the ideal setup for me, I can't afford dusk+1, but was wondering if Loki's would still be the way to go?

or

I know someone mentioned loki but it seems weird losing out on 2 pieces of af3+2, but I'm terrible at math. ^^;

edit: and the set mentioned before had mandau, not sure if that is the difference or?

Personally I would use the first set.
I use this set for TP since I don't have any +2 for THF other than hands.

Kila +2: 9Str 20Att
Mirke Wardecors: 3%DW 2%DA
RR/Omni/Apoc

After several days of parsing different Offhand/Gear Variations, I believe this to be one the most effective DPS builds at this time. (If not the best)
Tests were conducted on IT Dolls and Dhalmels in Abyssea without the use of Aftermath, which will soon be my next project.
Surprisingly, I also feel that this set holds up outside of Abyssea as well, but I haven't gotten a chance to parse it out either.
The only improvements I can forsee would be swapping in Mandau & Strigoi Ring. But I don't have either so I'll have to wait on that.

Off topic, Here's a few personal bests using Rudra's.

By AO do you mean omnipotent?

And did you try capping haste with just gear while still wearing nusku's instead?

Would open up atma so you could do say AaO. You'd lose 3dw and 2 double attack but would have to use a faster offhand dagger so attack speed would probably be about the same anyways. And you'd gain 10% triple attack and overall keep more att in both tp and even more so in ws set. Lose some acc but shouldn't matter on the mobs you tested

I think by AO they mean Alpha and Omega, not sure though

Edit: Also, heres my TP set. Outside of the obvious +1 body/+2s in general, any suggestions?

Also, what atma set ups do you guys use?

I thought omnipotent because it fits the letters AND he has exactly 16% gear haste while it has 10% on it. There is no way I'm going to beleive someone would use af3 gloves (not to mention a few other peices) while not capping gear haste

Oh probably then, I forgot omnipotent had haste on it to be honest. Then again I've never killed Pantokrator so why would I? lol

I figured Alpha and Omega since they didn't include an 'A' for atma in any of the other atmas listed, but you're probably right.

I tried 5 offhand daggers with the 90 Twashtar using the above listed build, (without aftermath).
Here is my conclusion:
1.Str.Kila +2 (highest)
2.Triplus
3.Auric
4.Twilight
5.Rapidus (lowest)

Well, i still doubt this can beat RR/AO/Apoc damage. Not only do you sacrifice attack gear, but you lose 50 attack from AO. This much attack might even beat what we get from an extra 8% DW in some occasions. Nevertheless Omnipotent sure has more usability than Alpha and Omega and its hp loss. So i guess this might be an option over GH if you still need hp security but not evasion or "subtle blow".

When I had a setup like that I focused on getting rid of wasted haste slots like hands and focus on af3 there or even ludic until then depending on the mob you're fighting etc. Could get away with swapping dusk or ballerines out

What race are you?
um what?

It shouldn't even be 8% DW. You can still cap haste without belt. And that's without using zelus
