My my, cynical aren't we?
Forgive me if I don't follow the "I don't have a choice" emo logic behind being unable to make a difference. Sadly most are too busy barely getting by or are simply too lazy to actually vote or do something.

Yeah you live in the US, yeah everyone wants a change. but the reality of it is, nobody aint gonna do ***. This is life, and you have to live with it, unless you suddenly run for president and in some way shape or form win the heart of EVERYONE, nothing will be done. so good luck in advance

I never said there is no choice, I quoted George Carlin on "the illusion of choice" and I would hardly consider either of us emo.
Really? cuz im cutting my wrists over here, its the same wherever you go "Oh i wish this this and that happened" or "This that and that would make this country better!" it just doesnt happen you know? its a little harder for people to understand when it comes to this stuff
The civil rights movement is enough testimony that real people can make real change outside of simply voting.
I simply think too many people don't care, are content with the way things are, or are adamant within their ignorance.
Perhaps if people for once got the right information and gave a damn, we could have real progress from the people, and not just a guy sitting in a desk and having everyone hope good things will happen.

You mean I should believe everything I see on Fox News? ZOMG *gasp*

So we just jump off the Spicy had some points to discuss wagon in the flip of a hat I see.
Oh you had good points, but they were wrapped thickly in pessimism, so they looked more like opinionated half-truths which didn't give much basis to discuss upon.
"Live from britain we are going to watch the queen sit down. Everyone eagerly watch as she elegantly places her arse on the throne and does *** all." Right!
And by misinformation, I mean doing something other than giving angry city hall rallies that contredict your own interests and well... this
These people want to cut the deficit, yet demand tax cuts. This correlation is about as logical as thinking getting a handjob will clean out your garage.

Choice is an illusion to make us feel we have control of our lives. Given the exact same set of experiences and situations you would've chosen the same thing no matter how many times you replay it if you could
That's quite a paradox Das. However, the same can be said about safety. Doesn't mean we should just ignore precautions and actions that can prevent potential disaster, which sadly will occur regardless of how careful we are or whatever choices we make.

Control wont be so easily given to us, its an eternal time paradox. your destined to choose the same choice every single time, no loop holes This is where your going and your gonna do it now >_>

Of course it doesn't. After all that is not our choice either ;)
Oh I dunno. I haven't been any further east than Utah sadly, but I'd love to travel sometime, and if I can have identical luxuries like fast internet, movie theaters, pizza delivery and tax returns, I think I wouldn't mind living in another country.

We go with the flow and hope it takes us somewhere good, but the chances of that happening are extremely slim

It's a paradox. We have influence to the conditions of reality, yet we are trapped within unavoidable circumstances that would exist regardless of actions taken by one or masses.
No wonder so many people simply just vote and hope for the best lol.

Now im really PO at the goverment its bad enough that the company I used to work for tryed to screw me over on unemployment and workers comp but not the unemployment screwed me on pay. Then they tell me im sorry but basically screwed. You know what if I had the power to change the law I would change it for the working people that gets injured and if workers comp and unemployment trys to screw over people they would have to pay a hugh @$$ fine same with the IRS. How come if they are late paying you its ok but if you are late paying them you get fined, thats BS. I see now why other people is attacking the usa and im not saying anything more.
