I had started this project a long time ago because doublets were one of the armors Alikona never got to, but had stopped for reasons. Someone wanted a Hydra doublet, and I figured now was a good time to finish my project! Picture is enormous. I have problems. Also idk who all uses what, these were just all of this style of armor that were not yet modded. I know to many, this is irrelevant, since most people have 4+ relics, but to me, this is the first step in a 7 year dream, some of the bynes used were actually from back then when coins were 10x the value of today. I'm proud of my little accomplishment^^ The next step is while harder, will be even more rewarding^^ (Yes, I cried that morning, proud of that too^^)I know to many, this is irrelevant, since most people have 4+ relics, but to me, this is the first step in a 7 year dream, some of the bynes used were actually from back then when coins were 10x the value of today. Annihilator 119! A very special shout-out is in order for many people who were part of this lengthy process from start to finish. A huge thank you goes out to Megawitchy, Figgles, Mizzjamie, Halticus, Kylos, Huan, Aeyela (and many more) for consistently giving me great deals on currency. There were many many more who also helped out (you know who you are), so thank you. Aeyela also helped me with my 30x 100 Byne loan, which I'm very grateful for. Moving onwards - a special thanks goes out to Ornah and Restless LS for helping me farm my Umbral Marrows. I'm really thankful for that. Thanks to Aeyela for selling me cheap plutons and to Truckie for giving me a whopping 87 plutons for FREE! Thanks man. It's been a long ride and I'm happy to be finally done.Annihilator 119! We finished all the then-current expansions' stories with Rachell, a fellow mithra from our linkshell. We've all remained friends since, despite years and distance. During those days, we were working "Chains of Promathia", and ended up in 'Bibiki Bay'... filled with Urganites, and occasionally discarded shells. "I just wanna go sliding down the stream in one of these shells, it looks fun!" She agreed, /em's happened, and laughs and smiles were had... Fastforward a solid decade? She remembered. And so did we. And art happened. For Christmas. And 2020 doesn't suck quite so much now. Ryunohige - Completed 1/12/13 Much thanks to Phraust, Brehn, Moonyoung, Shaoulin, and Luvlaijaden for being my biggest supporters in Salvage, Assault, Alexandrites, and Einherjar. And to Quartett, Poring, Vivivivi for committing to the headhunting in bazaars and making an effort to sell to me after you came up on some Alexandrites. Thanks also to Milich, Symulence, Rolliefingaz, Darktemplar and Daywalker who also were able to donate Alexandrites to this really really long quest. There's no way I could have done this without you guys. Also special mention to Fiorela for being very generous to donate 42 on my last stretch, Blackcloud for helping out in Nyzul, Arylias, Nyobi, Longarm, Cloudxz, Darthjohnboy and Kyler for finding Alexandrites when I was first starting out and 30,000 was the massive task at hand. And thanks to Kainstryder for saving me Ichor by spotting me for Odin entry items. And finally thanks to Reiyn and Jyakotsu for leaving your characters in my care. It was a massive load off my shoulders to have the freedom to re-do the mundane Assaults without having to bother people to waste tags when Nyzul Uncharted was the hot event. Having a THF and a RDM on hand definitely made things easier to do on my own. Redid the Denali set for HF and Mithra (but they're both the same and were completed at the same time so one screenshot suffices this time). Body is a rework of Korith's original Bison mod for Mithra, shoes are now high heels, changed the legs to better match my style of modding, two versions of the hands, and a ridiculous feather headpiece. For, really, absolutely no good reason. The result of an impulse to try to obtain Herkuleskeule. Personally, I found add-burning this guy to be easier than Podarge since there's no reason to dial down the DPS at any time during the fight. With NPC's and a Fast Cast set, keeping Reprisal up is easy enough and prevents the annoying Defense Down and Encumbrance from the auto-attacks and Riptide Eupnea, respectively. To be completely honest, this stunt is enabled by the adds around the area. Were they not flies or crabs, this would be much harder if not impossible. If someone had traveled back in time two years ago to tell me I’d make Tupsimati before Burtgang, I’d have said they were crazy. However, after soloing the overwhelming majority of Therion Ichor on SCH and doing so much on the job in general, I changed directions before I started turning in items. Hooray for being able to do things out of order. Regardless, I don’t want to see another assault for a very long time.If someone had traveled back in time two years ago to tell me I’d make Tupsimati before Burtgang, I’d have said they were crazy. Story time! Way back when I returned to FFXI in 2006 or 2007, I came back solely to level Monk to 75. As Relics were made easier to obtain, I eschewed Monk despite it being my main thanks to acquiring Verethragna. The years passed, I worked hard to get other items, but Monk remained my primary job. With the end of Vana'diel coming, I decided that I could not leave without getting this task accomplished, even though Relics really aren't worth much these days. Story time!
