9 years, 5 retirements and 3 attempts to build, I've finally accomplished my ultimate goal in ffxi! There are many thanks to be said throughout the years, and while the importance of this has lost it's luster for it's now a dime-a-dozen achievement, I consider this more of a sentimental trophy dedicated for the many who have come and gone on this long journey of mine. Let us first summarize and give thanks to Dienamis linkshell, my first Dynamis LS who got the Attestation of Vigor and Necropsyche for me back in 2005. I would also like to thank Grand Design for helping me obtain the Tenebrous Fragment in 2009. Ultimately, there are too many people to name but this relic was built and is not solely mine for it's entirety also belongs to one of if not my best in-game / become RL brother, Seshu. Since the Dynamis Updates in 2010, we have gone inside farming currency for me and though we retired in Feb 2012, we came back 9 months later and put in 2 months more of work to finish HIS and MY relic. Again, my heart and gratitude go out to all who have been there for me during this journey and though I may not specify each one, you know who you all are! Much love and yes, I troll'd and muled back my 75 gear just for the screenshot! Wonders of Travel #6: Rabao: Rabao, located in the northeastern half of Western Altepa Desert is a literal oasis in the hot desert. I've travelled to Rabao many times over the years and I still feel that sense of adventure whenever I return to this place and hear the amazing music. Looking for a cool place in the middle of the hot desert? Rabao is your best bet and it's by no means a mirage haha! Make sure to come to Rabao during the many festivals FFXI has to offer and watch the beautiful fireworks over the desert night sky, it's indeed lovely. Since the viability of Trust-soloing third-wave Arciela on SCH came up, I actually had an opportunity to test it out and I can say for certain it's entirely possible. Cast helices based on the day into Ascension or Descension, not against them and use NPC's that complement you tanking as opposed to an NPC tank. She has not one single physical source of damage, so she cannot hurt you if you keep Regen on. It didn’t take very long for August to bite the dust. Screenshot taken from behind so that you can see she has no bonnet and is in fact the Arcliela that may come in the third wave. As for her choice of Naakuals, I got Kumhau twice, and one of Colkhab and Yumcax, which explains why my NPC's are all dead. Ever since SE introduced [Dancer] as a job in this amazing game, I Knew I must be a career Dancer.. It had a rough start for sure like any new job, and was always branded the underdog of classes. Its versatility is overwhelming, you can become a healer, a damage dealer and a support all at the same time. Its solo capability was amazing and I couldn't resist the temptation of "trying" to solo tough content on my Own to see what I can do. This job is just perfect in so many ways and I'm so glad SE decided to give it the credit that it deserves, it really needed that! I love this Job and will always come back to this game because of it! What an amazing three years it has been! Decided to finally hang up my *MAGICAL* poroggo suit and move on from my adventures in Vana'diel...but, not before snagging a few screenshots. Of all, I have to post this one! It is missing Lillianriana who started with us...but I have to thank Darrc for dragging me into this void that is XI and convincing me way in the beginning it was worth all this time playing (it was thankfully). And Ru (Lillianriana) for making a really great friend who was always down to DRK stuff, where would I be without someone to pick on about DRK being horrible? And I have to shoutout all the peeps who ran through Sages, who have come to be really great friends to me on the game and off...whether they're still traversing Vana'diel or have moved on. And all the peeps at NU2 who further cultivated my remaining memories, thank you! And to the non-LS peeps who I have met, thanks too for an awesome adventure.
