Nor do I care if you like paying the highest price for health care in the world for a health care system that is no better than 34th in the world, and by certain metrics below that of some third world countries. I am retired, on social security, medicare, and medicaid.

But then again the current, privatized, health care system is so profitable for the few, why should anyone object to their obscene profits?

If you are so dead set against "communism" (really socialism) I suggest you quit paying taxes, tell your police and fire departments that you no longer desire their services, and stop buying insurance. All of those are socialism.

She should have ended it Monday, if we're being real. As it is, I think she won't endorse anyone until the convention, and Biden should have enough delegates to win the nomination. Warren ran a disappointing campaign and this was the inevitable result.

Turnout is going to be really low for 2020 in the general. I suspect Trump will win reelection unless the economy collapses. Joe Biden is just not an enthusiasm candidate. It's banking on enough older moderates in PA/MI/MN/IA/FL to show up and vote Trump out, rather than voting Joe in, and meanwhile conceding that the left, especially young/POC voters, stay home.

It doesn't matter what you think! Cause when the Rock...I mean Trump wins in 2020 it will all be just a memory !

Communism/socialism isn't about taxes or Medicare. It's about basic fundamentals of the economy.

Betteer market means more groth. In my construction career, I have seen construction projects go up when times are good than when times are bad. Good times means more jobs for my employees and their families. I like them earning money.

I think we have different views on viewing good things. I think if you would like those health care programs from the other world, possibly move to them, live in them, have a trial run and see if they are as great. And if so, the USA won't stop you. Is that a wrong thing?

Serious answer: Because American medicine has the profit incentive to develop better and newer drugs. During the USSR time, did their medicine R&D program develop anything that rivaled the US? There are flaws to the US health care system, it's far from perfect. But a commie take over of it to make it under a government program, doesn't seem to sit well with me, seeing how well the State runs other things.

Do you define Communism and Socialism differently?? I mean, you were past schooling when they great change happened in our schools where we stopped teaching the evils of communism. Must have happened sometime after I graduated. I pay a portion of my pay check for my health insurance. My company pays out a lot more than I do for it. They pay it to a company, held privately, not by the government. That company does try to make a profit on this. I don't see how my purchasing insurance is socialism on any spectrum. Unless we start redefining things.

For Taxes, I say pay them, but we shouldn't be burdened by overpaying for stupid ***. Paying taxes for your country for basic protection of your rights, would be more Federalism. At least I would say that. I don't hate taxes. I hate my money going to waste due to politicians spending on ***they need not to, rather than things they should, like roads and dams.

I won't tell me fire department I don't desire their services. I don't have fire trucks and hoses to help me extinguish a house fire. I can source that out to them. Police, well since they can't really follow me everywhere, I legally carry firearms on my person, to protect myself and family from those that would harm us. I take personal responsibility in that. I don't expect the police to follow me around and I don't have billions of dollars like Bloomberg to hire my private guard.
