Wait, he's actually worse. He's one of the no restrictions on abortions up to and including post-birth abortions folks. Just listening to him speak during the Dem's debates and various speeches, yeah he's a male version of AOC. He was the one that said "there is no place for pro-life Democrats in this party".

But he's the "moderate" one.

Bloomberg in 3rd place in most polls now, he is straight out buying the Democratic nomination lmao
That's what happens when a real billionaire self funds.

Uhhh... Trump won so I guess spending all that money to buy an election really isn't needed..Trump did spend money but he moreso had the media do it for him for free.

Let's not forget Russia :)

Yeah, gotta factor in that utterly negligible “meddling” that didn’t even come close to changing the outcome of anything.

Nice try downplaying it, but it was a huge propaganda operation. We just can't fully scope how effective it was.

Says the Canadian spreading propaganda in the hopes of influencing the 2020 election.

And you guys will never stop trying to overstate it. Hint: Hillary Clinton would still not be President.

Trump threw a huge temper tantrum today about Robert Mueller and the things Mueller did not do wrong, such as he did not lie to Congress, he was not appointed by any Dems, it was not a witch hunt, he won't be getting sued. Pretty *** hilarious. Russia interfered in the 2016 and 2018 elections, and they have been greenlit to interfere in 2020.

And think about this. A vast majority of the American MSM united against Trump, with over 80% of the coverage being negative (even when you include Fox into the average). But Russia, with things like Facebook ads, somehow managed to swing an entire election? I don’t buy it.

They worked to help Trump and hurt Clinton. Trump hates that fact so much, he has done nothing to stop them from continuing to interfere.

He hates out because people keep bringing it up even though he would have won without any a Russian interference. If anything, Russian interference did more to hurt than help, because the Democrats used it as a launching platform for more powerful propaganda (collusion).

First time for everything I guess. No, Russian interference did not hurt Trump, the FBI swinging the election for Trump certainly hurt Clinton tho. The Russian collusion story didn't come until after the election, it certainly did not help the Dems before it. Which is why you guys will never stop trying to downplay it and why Trump will never stop screaming about it. If he wants to change the Russian narrative, he would step up and try to stop it, instead of encouraging them to continue.

How elaborate and broad it was is irrelevant. Influence is the only metric that matters. Where’s your proof that it changed the mind of even one voter?

If Clinton had been more forthcoming from the beginning then it never would have lasted long enough to become an October surprise. She brought it on herself.

Clinton not stopping in Wisconsin can’t be blamed on Russia nor the FBI, and that’s just one of many blunders. She blew the election on her own.

What 2018 elections?

They're call midterm elections.

Every 4 years we have the national election for President. Every 2 years we have elections of Congressional Representatives and Senators. However its a "staggered" rotation in that not everyone is up for re-election every 2 years.

However, in 2018 a lot of people voted to switch the House of Representatives which had a majority Republican seats to a Democratic majority through direct election of Representatives. This happened because people were tired of the Republican Congress not holding the President accountable.

So while our friends over on the right like to say "elections matter" in reference to Trump winning in 2016, the left likes to remind them that yes "elections matter" because of the shift from 2018 and the resulting attempts to hold the Executive accountable.

You can't quantify propaganda, at best you could try to poll people if they believe or support X subject pushed by Russia to have a general idea but even so it's hard to tell if or when it's when or if that information would change their vote.

Exactly. So you have to look at the bigger picture and use some logic to get a better idea of how influential Russia could possibly have been. You had two very galvanized factions in the election. It’s highly unlikely that any significant number of people changed their vote based on direct Russian propaganda amidst the sea of other information that was already at the voters’ disposal.

Even if someone clicks on a Russian ad (which we have numbers for), the probability of that one thing being the factor that influenced their final decision is very slim. Nothing happens in a vacuum. They are much more likely to have been influenced by domestic media, which was clearly in Clinton’s favor. Or, rather, it would have been if it hadn’t completely backfired, but that’s another story.

You were on the right track before you injected your personal bias into it. Midterm elections are almost always favorable for the party opposite the President. Obama had far worse losses in his second year.

Found out that note only is Alan Dershowitz a lifelong Democrat, but that the Washington elite he used to hand with has officialy made him persona non grata. In their social circle people must now post warnings if he's attending an event so that others don't have to see him.

Hearing that just affirms my belief that the Democrats are the party of the ultra wealthy elite.

Look up the difference between facts and opinions.

Beyond that, it puts the results in context. Trump’s losses were normal and no carried no more special significance than any other midterm loss.

Alan Dershowitz went on Fox the other day and claimed to have dirt on Obama, then proceeded to not share it. Seems to be the preferred tactic for the right, make something up, don't back it up.

Trump-Russia collusion. You can’t beat that with anything the right comes up with.
