For all the people upset at Trump’s negotiating within global trade, ive yet to hear anyone contest his point that we are treated unfairly.
I’ve yet to hear how we are treated unfairly... all trump ever says is that we are treated unfairly and there are trade imbalances and nothing really specific about that... I’m surprised there’s any kind of trade balance between Canada and America considering we have over 300 million people and they have what... 40? Also, Americans are the biggest consumers in the world...
So we therefore deserve all these trade deficits?
The US protects the rest of the world through it’s leadership in NATO. We pour more money into it, and we do more with it. Our contribution enables everyone else to spend their money on things aside from their military (like socialized healthcare and free college). Trump campaigned on getting these free loaders to stop takkng advantage of us in this way.
And we choose to spend more money on it so we can have more control of it... NATO has nothing to do with trade anyways... get em to put more into like he’s been trying but that has nothing to do with trade...

Again though explain to me how there’s supposed to be more of a trade balance between 300 million people who are the largest group of consumers in the world against 37 million Canadians? Please tell me... are we to force Canadians to purchase more from us? It’s like you republican people forget you’re for free markets and just focus on this one thing and don’t seem to truly understand free markets or what’s going on with trade... as for you Nausi you just seem to take whatever trump says at face value and forget about anything else...
So we deserve the deficits then? We deserve to pay almost 300% tarifs on some items? Going into Canada? Thats fair tonour farmers?
So basically you have no idea about anything and you just respout any talking point you seem to agree with?

I dont know what pisses leftiests off more today. The thought of actual peace because its a huge accomplishment, or the fact that “Trump’s gonna get us all nuked” bludgeon has become a limp paper club.
It probably won’t become a limp paper club since people are still saying Obama’s not American and yelling stuff about Hillary and Benghazi or other stuff that’s been long dead lol...

As for North Korea from what I’ve been reading it has had to do with amped up pressure from the White House through nikkey Haley... there have been some amped up sanctions and the wild card trump whom people believe might actually attack North Korea if things didn’t go the way he wanted... some people have valid concerns about that as well because Jong Un is a wild card too and might have just set off bombs in response to an attack... luckily it seems to be working out atm which I’m sure relieves everyone...

Yup, the same media that was fawning over North Korea and Kim Jong Un's sister in particular is now upset that Trump is legitimizing a brutal dictator.

The Party of Backfire has a short memory, it seems.
I think everyone seems to have a short memory like McConnell calling the Dems the party of obstructionists after 7 years of doing nothing but obstructing as a republican eve to the level of stopping a Supreme Court nominee nomination then crying about it now because the Dems are doing something similar lol...

People only seem to focus on the now and regardless of facts just do or say whatever to support their own party and throw fire on the other and act like only the other side is crazy lol... I mean look at you Rav... you claim to be a moderate but you say stupid incendiary ***like this often enough... I guess you have blamed the other sides infuriating actions for your own responses but I mean that’s a pretty weak excuse... it’s like no one realizes that they’re all doing the same ***...

We've had this similar discussion a million times, and the answer is always the same. You think you're pointing out something I don't know, and your assumption is always wrong. I gave up the middle ground in here when I realized that common sense bipartisan discussion was treated with just as much vitriol as blatant partisanship (if not more). Quite frankly, the latter is more fun, so here we are.

This is essentially becoming Trump's Iran deal equivalent which is a great thing and probably the first time he is really acting like a president.

But somehow, the Iran deal is the worst deal ever.

When Trump secretly airlifts pallets of cash to NK and then ignores blatant rule-breaking just so he doesn't have to lose his "diplomatic victory" that was never even signed by the other country nor our own Congress.... Well, then I'll be glad to call it equivalent.

Well, it may have been more of a timing problem in my part. When I joined the P&R club, it could get pretty rough in here. Now we're just the grumpy, apathetic leftovers.

I guess that describes the FFXI community in general, so it makes sense.
