The following abilities of pets summoned with the job ability Call Beast have been adjusted so that the delay between inputting the command and activation is now 0.25s.

it also means you don't lose nearly so much tp time if you use ready move. Meaning getting in pet/master skillchain/bursts will be smoother.

Also no delay on self buffing is VERY cool.

MonstersInc was Ramuh. Wrong server.

You're thinking BzerozerotyPirates. Speaking of which, whatever happened to that shell? I know Trulusia took a break. Did he end up quitting altogether?

Yeah, Tru quit. he flirts w/ the idea of coming back every once in awhile methinks, but its been over 2 years. over 3 years.

So did that shell end up falling apart instead? Shame if that's the case.

And where is Grand Master Falkirk lately?

Haven't seen falkirk on for a month or 2. though he did update gearsets for this last month pretty quickly.
I might just be on opposite side of the clock, but I think he's waiting for something new.
maybe this update will do it for some testing at least.

Poor Malthar has been trying to get Falkirk over to Shiva for ages. Quite frankly, I wouldn't mind it. Guidance from the grand master BST himself.

We haven't been able to test that since it had been only a pet boost until this update. Will know when servers are up.

I didn't do the testing, but I vaguely recall talking to Falkirk. I'm pretty sure we chatted that it was JA haste.

I read t his and it appeared that you had no idea what kind of haste it was. so no, the question was not answered.

Question - this "The following abilities of pets summoned with the job ability Call Beast have been adjusted so that the delay between inputting the command and activation is now 0.25s." - Wont it make it impossible to swap gear fast enough from ready gear to pet attack gear? (not using lua)? It just the leg slot now, but if this is true it seems like a slight nerf unless Unleash is used.

Just tested ... two things:

1) The changes works with beast loyalty.

2) The ready moves are so fast now - it is *not* possible to gear swap between a ready set and the pet attack set anymore (without lua at least).

So we must use a single set now, and sacrifice the leg slot.

You're right, it's extremely fast now. With even the slightest amount of lag in an instanced zone there's no hope for changing legs before the Ready move connects.

Berserk and Rage stack if anyone was wondering, who needs defense, also I assume the Devs forgot the -Ready timer legs exist and assumed only Merlin was used to reduce timers because otherwise its hilarious that they essentially forced you to still use a non-ilevel piece of gear.

Harden Shell - Enhances pet's defense as well as master's if in area of effect. (Defense+50%; 1min3sec @ 1040 TP, 3 minutes @ 3000 TP)
Water Wall - Enhances pet's defense as well as master's if in area of effect. (Defense+100%; 3~9 minutes [Random])
Zealous Snort - Grants pet and master the effect of Haste, enhances their magic defense, and increases their likelihood of both countering and guarding. (Haste+25%, MDB+25; 3 minutes @ 3000 TP)

Edit from the future: Rage's effect is +50%/-50% on the player, even though it is still +60%/-60% on the pet.

So you can't swap timer gear for those 10 seconds(axe/pants) because of ability activation speed, then they gave merits a extra 5 seconds? so bst lost 5 seconds for sic/ready with this update?
(unless sacrifice legs during gearswap?)
Also, does the aoe effect pt members?
And is 'metallic body' spam the new invincible?

This update has potential, can't wait to get home and dust off my bst finally.

You know attack has a cap right? EDIT: or rather ratio of attack to defense has a cap, but you know what I mean.

I was just messing around on apex mobs and had metallic body up fulltime without any issue. I run full malignance gear and moonlight rings in my TP set so maybe thats why metallic body was lasting so long.

As for pants i had mine swap in most of the time but did notice a few 15 second waits.
