The 2nd set has you at 26% haste, the first set has you well above haste cap. I'd go with the 2nd set.

I don't understand why you have the higher damage weapon in your sub hand. Is that some kind of mistake?

No, just shut the *** up. Ocelot gloves are ***. Deal with it. And deal with the fact Kamome is the best offhand inside of abyssea, no matter what you mainhand.

I'm sorry, but dual wield caps at 50%, and you don't use koga hands for the ninja tool exp, you use it for the nighttime haste.

Can use it for both really. Not like there's anything else worth casting debuffs in, and you can generally work it into an Utsu macro too.

Yeah, you can. But kuro is HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE, and wouldn't know how to do that. I wasn't making it a statement in general, just towards him.

Overall delay reduction caps at 80%. Dual wield does not have its own cap.

edit: something screwed up with quotes? nvm

Fair enough.

I've never seen any testing that indicated DW caps at 50% but there's not much practical reason to go beyond 48% (DNC) or 50% (NIN). I don't have Koga Hakama or Nusku's Sash so I can't run out an whack a mob for actual results, could kill Karkinos later though. I'm sure someone else here has the gear to hit 55-61% DW.

Yeah, I remember reading something awhile back on it, completely possible to be just a made up number, considering most didn't reach 50% DW back at 75 cap. But it would make sense to cap at 50% if you ask me.

You actually want this set:

With haidate augemented with crit damage +4, unless you have march, or acc issues.

What are people thinking about Agasayas Collar I don't have one, I TP in Iga neck today and once I get a Gorget/Torque I plan on WSing in those.

How is Hope Torque stack up against Iga neck for TP inside/outside? WS onry?
How does it fit into an ideal NINs arsenal, TP outside or something?

P.S. I'm happy without NIN Chainmail +1 Blaze > Shock ^^

If you're crit rate is really low, agasayas is better, if its 25%+, you could debate either one.

And chainmail+1 is for the very small dex/acc increase!

all these years, and we still have to TP in AF chainmail... pretty crazy considering how that piece has even lasted the test of time over B Haidate (unless you get some radical augments..even then its situational)

Honestly I have a hard time wanting other sets. The math will show other sets have lower delay however Ihave yet to find one factoring in the DA rate Iga+2 set gives. Also you could have the ideal set on paper but in the field there are other variables to consider. One of which would be the time you spend debuffing/hinting triggers/triggering said triggers.

Sets matter a lot but in the end Skill > Gear.
if you're going to use that set, you should probably use tiercel necklace to hit 25% (gear)haste. The jump from 24 to 25% haste will easily beat a 2% crit damage increase.
