Lol. This couldn't be more wrong. Due to the rise of papal states in the 700s, the Pope was considered the acting sovereign of these states and was directly involved in defending and retaliating attacks from the Lombards and Byzantines. These executive decisions would pretty much make the Pope the Commander-in-chief of the military.
Seems to be statistically borne out if you compare American school standards pre 1970's/post 1970's. (Don't agree with every premise of #1, but rest is statistically valid->recorded incidents of school violence).
