Well obviously not good for Ni or haste set these are great for pld/nin trying to get ichi up where shield skill is #1 modifier and haste is #2. Ichi is such a slow cast most endgame mobs are going to hit anyway might as well try and get a shield block and get ur spell off

No Sheild skill is block rate you need sheild bash+ gear to help bash which is on the Valor Gaunlets from dyna-sandy.
