I'd be very surprised if he gave the money back considering he was the actual bidder, and not someone who got say 30m in their delivery box for a 3m item.

I really hope the guy shows some compassion ^^ But he was after a cheap deal after all.

Did you try asking the guy if he'd give you your rod back for 300k? Maybe even 600k.

Sometimes you'll find a nice person who will trade it back, but most people are complete and utter douchebags, so the chances of you getting it back for only 300k are slim to none.
