Too much FFXI when leader says "brb 5 Mins gotta go sing happy birthday to my kid". 3 kids and still playing FFXI every nite spending no time with family. Wonder if your kids give a sh@t that you have all jobs 80.

When you are driving back home and look on the car radio, seeing "RDM" and immediately thinking Red Mage. Needless to say, I told this to my FFXI friends and they all bust out laughing.

Playing GTA last night, look at the top of the screen and think 'crap.' Then get made fun of by my bf cuz I asked him where do I get signet at.
My bf's name is Ovrgrowntedyber... I can't even tell you how many times we've gotten wierd looks from ppl when I accidentally call him Ovr. (May have happened in bed once, too...)

i seriously think my math teacher plays ffxi. I am 85% convinced he does. and i dont wanna ask him. even tho this isnt really a sign of to much ffxi but it is for me lool.

I started saying "brb" "afk" etc irl not long after i started playing XI. my friends parents and family (even my grandpa, who is 98) all know what it means now.
I quit the game for two years and never stopped saying them. I'm back now, though.

I find that after a break from FFXI, once I start playing it again for the first week or so, if Im having an MSN chat at the same time I will start trying to do ctrl+R or /p or /l to the person Im talking to lol.
Most of the time I realise and delete the /p or whatever, but sometimes it has slipped through lol.
I also do the whole looking at the car radio and seeing RDM lol. And car number plates that spell out jobs.

Playing halo reach and having your bf saying "hun come cover me I have to many mobs on me" <.< Alien dia ALIEN...
It's been cloudy the past few days and I keep thinking I should change my draw distance so I can see farther again x.x
I realized I played this game too much when most of my RL friends had me listed in their phone as "Excel" instead of Jake. Pretty sad :/
I caught myself saying "True Strike" to a valid point earlier today in RL... FML.
