Still extremely luck dependent though. Need some lucky counters to maintain ichi or it can get hairy, rather quickly. Though, my chakra build is top notch, in emergency, not to mention the fact that I have shadow mantle for proccing the ant to pop.
I'm not disagreeing with any of you that it's perfectly feasible to farm up enough gil to obtain whatever you want from a merc shell.
I'm specifically disagreeing with this:
Luck <> "pretty easy".
Farming up 10M over a month with some luck on ENM/KSNM/ISNM/angel skins/etc etc is perfectly reasonable.

I didn't find the information myself, but apparently SiALC has been changed so that DAT swaps and possibly ApRadar won't work anymore. The way one of my static members explained it is that now the mobs are stored either elsewhere in the zone, or in a separate zone entirely and are summoned by the (invisible) traps rather than stored directly under the traps (which is why DAT swaps worked.) This happened in a fairly recent update (last 1-2 months.)
But again, that's just how he stated it, and I did not read or test that information myself.
