It really is amazing. Super fun to play too regardless of whether you're front line for DD or just spamming QD in the back and buffing mages.
I think it has to do with not only unique buffs but non static results. Gotta take a gamble each time and use some brains combined with sheer luck to determine the best outcome.

ya minuets are pretty lame its so redundent that every merit pt i alwys have to tell the bard march x 2 not march and minuet. But like you said bard is really nice for zerging that 40% haste with 2 houred songs alone is usually +60% damage at least alone.

Couldn't agree more. A shame we killed bard off so quickly, but I think that has alot to do with its general gameplay style. Wonderful to have, but I wouldn't wanna be behind the keyboard for it.

why is bard knocked off? why not just make it go negitive? i actually like brd >.>; can get a party easy making capping xp or meriting a breeze and i dont know about other people but pulling or doing nothing but standing there and singing in end game events is fun to me lol and i dont care if i die. +1

Nah minuet cant compare to march even at low (haste{ninja edit}) levels, especially sine jobs like sam benfit so little from attack and its the most popular melee merit job. Not to mention minuet does nothing for ws damage during tp phase but march does.

ty... brd > cor in my book as well, yes cor has more potential to give out higher stats then a brd but it isnt consistent.... brd however is consistent no mater what >.>
Looks like BST & WHM have an imminent demise. I'm curious to see the stretch of RNG vs COR though. Both oh so much fun to play; not to mention expensive ._.
Even the increase from LUCKY numbers together doesn't beat double march on 2handed DDs w/ 20% haste in gear. Only rolling 11s

Capped snake eye helps a lot in achieving more frequent 11s. But aye, double haste with certain consistency and a two hour that doubles potency. Can't really top that in a long stretch.
I hope it doesnt come to a debate like that its not about the best job just the most popular job weather your vote goes to what you like to play or what you think is the strongest is up to you. bard going out first is mostly due to how boring it is to play its obviously not thought to be the weakest job(if im wrong ill eat my foot.)
