New trust system - Who will you upgrade first?

Assuming everything is greed because you're bitter and angry at a game you don't play is just weird. Everything isn't greed. Stop obsessing. It absolutely is corporate greed, there is no reason at all that they could not hire people to work on this game considering how much it makes a year. This is why they downsized the team a few years ago, stop sucking their balls. I do play the game the way I want to play it (if I was not, I would not be here at all), I also do PAY to play it. Who the fk are you to tell me I can't complain about what I'm paying for? Bismarck.Nickeny said: » Mid *** content lmao At least they are keeping their word and acting on player feedback from player survey, where people said they wanted more solo content and opportunities to progress solo. Trust updates, Limbus, Besieged all fit that criteria, no matter how bad it may be for player experience GetHelpNerd said: » RadialArcana said: » Carbuncle.Maletaru said: » It's taking a year because they have no resources and are using a skeleton crew, and probably taking a conservative approach. The problem is the trust updates could have been content for casual players, and instead you just get a monthly allowance linked to doing 4 monthly RoE objectives.
Most of the new content sucks donkey ***, so for many casual players that was content they were looking forward to. To level them up. Many people leveled their fellow to max, just cause it was fun to do ery day. They could have done that with trusts, then everyone would be out in random places doing it. Instead they did it in the most crap way possible, and to get as much sub money out of people via fomo. you admitted a while ago that you only play during free campaigns for the last 5 now(?) years. you are not their target customer. people should keep that in mind when reading this livejournaling

You're the one that plays on a private server, you low expectation having shitter! Go kill crabs on dunes forever, while sucking aerecs balls. He seems to think casual players want to login and do Limbus or something, I can assure him nobody likes Limbus. Leveling trusts with level cap quests, even if it was just a copy and paste of the fellow system would have been better than what he did with it.
It's currently just login, get your 4 monthly RoE objectives and done for the month. Repeat for over a year, it's literally FOMO BS of the most low effort kind. Someone even asked if they could just get them all at the end and he admitted, no you have to sub every month to get them and if you miss a month it extends the time it takes. You have to be absolutely mental if you think leveling trusts as a system is better than a "one and done" approach with primers. We don't even have to guess, we have history as proof; They designed an entire capped Moogle Mastery system and it went largely ignored even during the height of Odyssey, and it superpowered trusts significantly inside Odyssey. And they're still trash against anything that matters in there. If you've been playing FFXI for any number of years, the value of trusts goes down the more advanced you are. They're literally buff batteries, not pride projects like raising chocobos or adventuring fellows. If you take a good six months off from the game, you will miss next to nothing from primers and powering up trusts. You can't even use them on ***besides MLs, Limbus you're limited to 3 and Sortie is laughable solo.
I will grind for 6 months for a Prime weapon or Sworn set, or whatever. Not for a shitty 10 levels (because I ALREADY DID THAT MM45) on Qultada so he can interrupt my SCs even faster. FOH with that. A mindless, casual grind that you can log on and do everyday? You're basically describing Limbus which you rightly pointed out that nobody likes. Why would doing essentially the same thing for the sake of trusts be any better? |
