Official BLM Epeen Vs SCH Epeen Thread!! Keep These Fights Clean!

Since this has/will always be a hot topic.

Let this thread be the offical BLM vs SCH thread.

Rules in this thread:

1. Keep it nice and clean. No drama.
2. Back up your numbers. Show Screenshots if possible.
3. Show your gear. How in the hell would we know if that 1 SCH brought out that 10k Stone I if we don't know your gear.
4. Job setups are a must. If you had help getting that damage, show it.
5. Job Abilities are a must. Since SCH can't do anything without a JA backing it up, show it.
6. If you have numbers outside of damage, show your work. Where's your proof?

Follow these 6 simple rules, and lets try not to get this put in Flame Core!

I allow full authority to the Admins to nuke any posts that go off of subject, even if its my posts. Lets try to keep this on subject, and let the fight begin!

As far as I (Or any mage worth his salt) cares, SCH > BLM.

You can't setup a kind of thread like this and expect it not to be all "Flame Core"ish... Haha

Maybe some numbers would be nice? I still lean in favor of SCH myself, but I'd like to see just what the average poster of FFXIAH does with theirs ^^

And yeah, stay on topic. Don't just go "OMG SCH RUELZ" in many, many more words.

For those of you that read it more he says you need near perfect gear to floor your resist on any HNMs worth there salt. ANd that sch is superiour in the dmg/mp part of nuking only.

And yet, he doesn't mention BLM/SCH...

Gives you the full benifits of BLM with most of the benifits of SCH.

He likes to compare damage with SCH/BLM, why can't we compare jobs like such:

BLM/SCH vs SCH/BLM...

Enchantment is Spirit Lantern, and he got a day proc. That is FAR from normal damage.

Seriously, I don't believe that pic. My BLM is really NOTHING to sing home about, with the exception of one or two nice pieces, and I can beat that Thunder IV more or less every cast.

I mean, my BLM is worse than Dasvas. I can't fathom how a BLM with near perfect gear would nuke lower than me.

Can one argue that the stratagems are not normal damage? Just asking before I *try* some math with some numbers I think I have somewhere.

lol gear isn't all that determines ones damage.

That blm must have been severely under-merited or resisted. Also whose to say he didn't accidentally nuke in MP/Resting gear and then switch over? His spell was Thunder IV and he's obviously using Aquilo's Staff so he must of changed gear or used the wrong staff.

Taking out Stratagems is like taking out WSs for SAM or DoT for MNK.
