He’s not a coward enough to pull that stunt man Yeah how could it be Eli when it's soooo obviously ME! xD Yeah I don’t think that anyone who puts a toon at leeches in Pashow to farm Beastmen Bloods for Aurg Orb synth is going to care enough to develop/figure out an exploit of this nature, anyway. Don't listen to him, it's totally me Eiryl. I just camp leeches as a cover-up. The 0x059 packet governs communication of synthesis completion and may be the culprit.
If someone wants to confirm that this packet is used to communicate that a synthesis is interrupted during its animation, i.e. after the synthesis results are received within the 0x06F packet, then it's likely that SE never patched out the 'old' way to request synthesis failure with only the loss of your crystal. Pure conjecture but possible root cause if that's what 0x059 is used for. Since the client governs communication synthesis completion post-result-receipt and pre-animation-completion, the exploit is likely somewhere in there. But I've heard the phrase "the numbers don't add up" in regards to crafting from people in his orbit for months now. Offline

So, I gather that someone anonymously volunteered a possible exploit to SE. And now they must automatically start catching ***for it? Even if it wasn't actually them, just someone the sheeple collective deem as being possibly the 'culprit' read: the person exposing an exploit. Pretty easy to see anyone who may be exploiting the exploit in question already are now gonna get a pearl over the fact that it might become exposed. See what I just did there? Wow, I'm super happy to see this thread. I just lost 400m on +2 necks.
Legit crafting of +2 necks and SU5 weapons is a joke. I'm not ever attempting it again. Drayco said: » Wow, I'm super happy to see this thread. I just lost 400m on +2 necks. Legit crafting of +2 necks and SU5 weapons is a joke. I'm not ever attempting it again. Even with an escutcheon it just isn't worth trying. I tried 6 rostams when I first got my shield, broke every single one of them, minus a couple materials. Tried 3 synths for a friend, made him a Barfawc 1st synth... next two broke. Never tried torques as they sold for much less for about the same cost of materials. I'd love to see this exploit fixed, and possibly make su5/necks profitable again for the normal user. Probably not anytime soon with this whole covid-19 going on but I have faith that it'll be taken care of in due time. Absolutely. Buy these SU5 weapons now, because once they fix all this, they will never be this cheap again.
SU5 weapons are 16m in materials per attempt. With a less than 10% HQ rate and then a 33% chance of HQ2 or HQ3 on top of that... The only way anybody is selling SU5s for 100m and profiting is because of exploits. Drayco said: » Absolutely. I don't consider myself rich, nor poor, but even these are too pricey for me to even risk. I have better luck losing 3-5M a synth trying to make an aurgelmir orb +1 on my bone mule without an escutcheon. Your assumption of a rate of attainment being 3.33% per synth is highly inaccurate. It's T0 and then 2:3 for HQ2 or HQ3. |
