Yeah dude, all the people who got banned 10 years ago would pay buckets to come back to the game on their completely irrelevant character to play with all their friends who still play.

I got hit with a name change suspension for 216 hours minimum, seems kinda excessive but I'm not sure if I have a prior offense on these accounts, three of them are pretty new (less than 2 years old). I'm actually quite surprised my mules lasted so long to be honest, I left one of them online over night a few just to see if someone would report me but they didn't get hit lol. The shitty part is a different account that didn't get suspended yet (which is also currently suspended right now because it's on the same service account) will most likely go through the same tedious process.. and it has like 7 characters with 'offensive' names. I really hope they perma ban me for something this HELP I AM TRAPPED IN 2006 PLEASE SEND A TIME MACHINE, been looking for a good reason to quit. I'm mostly sticking around to see what the 20th anniversary has in store, but it's most likely something overhyped anyways.

Lots of detailed information on Movement speed flagging but I’ve literally been flying around at 400% unless in town or near other players (any more doesn’t even register?) for YEARS and never had an issue. The only thing I know for sure is in place is that the game keeps a register of how long it should take you to cross from current position to next zone and if you exceed that, you’re zone-locked. Luckily, you can easily fix this by warping but if you can’t warp, you get to have a chat with a GM lol.

So when crossing from edge to edge on zones I just stop at the next zone and go *** off for 2 or 3 minutes before proceeding. Honestly it was the Nyzul Isle II that started this whole thing. If not for that near-impossible climb, Clipping probably wouldn’t be as popular as it is now. Or that’s what spurred it for ME at least. Now it’s a mainstay and I hope they never fix it, it’s just convenient.

You can just log out and log back in to get around that, btw. Handy for zones like Grauberg with ridiculous zone delays.

about 9 years ago my main got flagged for using clipper like that. Got a 72 hr on it. Considering I've already got one strike, that was enough to scare me straight. I only play one account, and when the times comes to say goodbye I'll probably do something equally stupid, like clip to the top of some building in mhaura and just /aim at people all day until reported- but until I make that choice, speed things are definitely out of my playbook.

That’s fair. The way I see it, I’ve gotten PLENTY of mileage out of this game. To the point where I’m now Max-Gearing Alts <_<;. I help people out with random things without mercing and try to just be a good guy. If SE gets me from clipping? So be it; had good times.

Not nocking mercs btw, they have their place in every MMO and I definitely call one when there’s something I want that I just don’t have enough firepower for on my own. It’s just not my thing is all.

No 20th anniversary probably have a HTBF with a level 1 dagger with 0 delay. Please look forward to it.
