Note:

This month, the Version Update is accompanied by an unusual maintenance schedule along with a "Version Update Server Maintenance".

We are unsure when to expect the update to be available, if at all, before the Update Server maintenance is completed. It is scheduled to be completed at the following times:

January 10th, 3:00AM (Eastern)
January 10th, 2:00AM (Central)
January 10th, 1:00AM (Mountain)
January 10th, 12:00AM (Pacific)

Is beastmaster great yet ?

I just hope the HP scaling makes it possible to get 1k beads per dragon kill again (spoiler: it won’t).

well crap, no mention of DI points added to currencies, no change to weekly cap either.
Hopefully we get faster spawns at least with the update but based on the part where HP now scales ... doubt it.

The maximum HP of monsters will now increase based on the number of participants.


This means on Asura the HP will be about 900,000,000 !

no more non ilevel recast gear, and more power from pet to master. Seems like beastmaster will be on par with other pet jobs.

Not streaming the update tonight guys. New files are not available yet, and I don't want to be attempting to download them for the next 4.5-5 hours on repeat...

Making HP scale makes DI worst...

Wait, do they do calculations in 60fps even though the game is 30fps?

At least they could have done was add Dominion points to currency tab

They put FrameRateDivisor at 1 as well.

Antlion Antica ambuscade this month.

SE gave pld aoe cure. they could have done the same for bst and gave them aoe party buffs from pet.

Enough with this "who never did the event to begin with" garbage. Hello? People weren't doing it because there wasn't a reason to and now there is. How hard is that to understand?

Yeah, that constitutes as nothing when the content is four years old. Nothing "new", is that better for you or do you enjoy being pedantic? There is an obvious reason people are doing it now and that's new gear.

They were never going to fix that sadly, they doubled and tripled down on the stupidity, and they'd have lost face to revert it.

This makes us "just another melee", now with self-buffing kinda like BLU (less flexible!), with the added ability to zerg with Familiar/Unleash. Not having to swap axes out is a decent buff to hybrid pet/master strats. Now we can maintain AM3, use Zealous Snort, fight alongside our pig, and get the -25% defense down from Sweeping Gouge, at least. I think what I like least about this is that Generous Arthur is the most useful alliance pet we have, and we have to forego him to boost our own damage. edit- also, Sweeping Gouge is probably a dps loss when fully buffed, even with Frailty/AM3, due to JA delay.

I'll continue to use my beastmaster for Omen and most of Geas Fete. It would have been nice to get the range restored for stuff like Odin but this IS a decent buff.
