It’s kind of moot. Slore and not worth getting worked up over. Senators are bound by duty in their office to take part regardless of their extra curricular activities.

This whole thing is a L for both parties in terms of Dems and Trump.

Trump clearly was focused on Biden being the eventual nominee (could still end up being but it’s looking slim). Trump played a Gambit. Dems reacted with their own Gambit via impeachment.

Now Trump is acquitted and Bernie and Buttigieg are currently standing ahead of Biden.

So it turns out to be egg on both groups faces, if you’re not factoring the whole acquittal aspect being a positive for Trump.

Romney is and always will be a political hack that used his fathers good name to further himself in politic. He has run for office in 3 different states over the years and because he is Mormon he went to Utah to finally get elected. they will dump him in the next election.

Trump openly admits now to sending Guiliani to the Ukraine to muscle them into digging up dirt on the Bidens. The crime which he was impeached for.
