McDonald's coffee is better than most anything you'll get anywhere else. They don't use top-end beans, but they're still decent quality and their water comes from their filtration systems that are high end. Better water = better coffee nine times out of ten.
It's also why their soft drinks taste better than anyone else's fountain drinks and many even prefer them to bottled/canned. High end filtered water and proper mixing ratios.

They could be delicious. I don't know. I've never had one.
I don't eat a lot of fast food anymore. When I do it's normally Five Guys or Taco Bell and I stick with my old favorites because, well. I don't have them often.
I just really, really hate overpriced shitty coffee sold by places like Starbucks and the like. YMMV on independent places, obviously. I've had good and terrible.

their fountain drinks are legit though... at least the one I worked at thirty two years ago... after I cleaned and re-calibrated the coke machines a couple hundred times I can still taste how far everyone else's coke machines are off.

McRib almost killed me I tried it once a few years ago...I still have PTSD.
That and some spicy chicken at some God awful Chinese place...I thought I was going to die.

True story I once had subway almost every day for 4 months. Pretty sure it killed me but all the preservatives keep me going

That literally happens here. There's a Walmart that has a Subway in it, and right across the highway is another god damn Subway! And another one right down the street!

Quiznos is pretty terrible too. So glad when the one near me went out of business. Sad subway still here. At least Chipolte nearby gives me flavor with my food poisoning
