It's not a straight +10 per level; there's some overlapping ones, fwiw.
This is all assuming they don't decide to scale higher past level 15 as well, so bear that in mind

So just going to toss out a theory for upgrades:
If you've killed Wave 3 boss you unlock augments on that weapon type for all weapons.
If you haven't killed Wave 3 boss you can pay 500 stored JP to unlock a particular weapons augments.
This would save a LOT of time to reward the people who have cleared wave 3 boss, and give a decent grind for others meaning you need 2600 JP to start working on any weapon augments.

If you've only got one or two, just grinding JP to handle them individually isn't that big a deal.

Forgive my ignorance, but what do you mean? If you have a a block of wood and you're trying to lay it down onto a foundation, but it is too long; you simply need to cut it to make it a shorter and a better fit, as well as shape it for the need. But that extra wood that has been removed isn't to go to waste. No, you can use it for other means. Perhaps another person an use it in their projects? Who knows, it could be the perfect catalyst for a completely different issue such as plumming or an artwork. Point is, I don't see how too much length is bad.

It's always a good time to return to the game. Next Month's Ambuscade will likely be equally as annoying as past-renditions. That, along with a new rmea grind, means it will be just like old times. You'll fit right in.

So su5 and necks get reinforcement points from trash. Only rema need wave 3 boss kills. Interesting. Looks like most dual wield jobs will be having the +1 offhands bis while waiting for the true bis of su5. Betting 40% follow up attack (my guess on augment) will still be bis for most dagger and sword jobs.

Right. Originally they were talking reinforcement points like wave 3 boss was only way to get. Now we know there are different reinforcement points for different pieces. Makes things easy for me. Neck upgrade, su5 upgrade from current progress and probably just JP for my first rema unlock.

Umm that plainly says you can juts use JP instead of fighting Wave 3 MB's. This was in response to the JP's being pissed that SE would put the upgrades behind Wave 3 Dyna D. It's the same reason the upgrade currency will also drop from Omen and Dyna D trash mobs.
I know you guys want monuments erected in your name eliciting how awesome and elite you are for fighting Wave 3 while the rest of the peasants avoided it. You want that monument to give you preferential treatment and special advantage over those peasants, a form of exclusive badge of honor that proves just how better you are then everyone else. Unfortunately the game hasn't been that way for years and no last minute decisions by SE to change direction and grant you said special privilege.
