My issue with their mentality is, why even make defeating Central NMs a requirement to upgrade chests if they're just going to give every server the rewards for free regardless of whether they clear it or not? If they aren't willing to let the community punish itself by not clearing the content, why not straight up provide the Gold Chests by default? Because they are unsure if the NM's did or did not get killed "because the data gets cleared"
I think they figure sending a superpowered GM to kill all the NM's is more time efficient than running a grep over a month's worth of logs for two zones over 16 servers. Also parsing logs wouldnt actually fix the problem for the servers that did kill them.

Again, similar concept to nerfing Vanabout: their estimated effort didn't match what playerbase put in.
I wish SE would improve the 'progress bars' in Limbus for a more engaging effect. Give us a Master Level Up-style animation when everyone's bar fills up? Give us a unique effect per floor? ...something to make it FEEL LIKE A GAME and less like waiting in line at the DMV.... snooooooze-fest.

Curious if a GM is gonna physically show up with all his GM armor and engage the NMs and solo them down? I'm assuming they would be able to set their stats to max like a brew if that's the case? Or do they have a /defeat command and the mob just dies? Interesting. I haven't seen a GM in game in a good 10+ years and would be more entertained to see a GM go god mode and solo them rather than using a command
She essentially just set its HP to 1 and smacked it to kill it. Not terribly much to see, but it's intriguing that there were two there. One to pull away the adds, and the other to kill it.

lol theres some articles going around about this, thats too funny. I imagined them going in like .hack and doing a data drain on the bugged NM before having to kill it.

Considering most servers can only tackle these on weekends when the playerbase has expanded playtime (you know, mon-fri 9-5 and all that), its kind of hard to *** were going to fail since they reduced the available time by 25%

Just throwing this out there, but over on the jp side of the OF, they are asking people to contribute any regional specialties they'd like to have available at all times.
The examples they give are Misareaux parsley and Movalpolos water.

Update notes mention something about removing level cap penalties from certain areas next month. What areas are left that still have level caps?

That's not what it says. Level difference isn't level cap.
There's still a lot of zones with the level difference. No telling which ones changing this time.
Couldn't even pretend to know which zones do it and which zones don't anymore.

Don't they normally remove level correction before they add apex/locus mobs to an area or an area becomes part of a quest/mission?

They did say that down the line they will be adding more open area NM's, so it could be related.
I'm not sure if adding more Locus/Apex is the move unless they make them non-linking, non-aggro, and pick from a set of mobs that dont have stupid TP moves. I havent seen anyone at Imps or Promys, never seen anyone at Kaznar camps, but theres always people in KRT/Bhaf/Bibi. It would be nice if they added another set of 140++ mobs though.

It's going to give us an indication of where the next batch of content will take place. SE removed Level Difference Penalties in ToAU Zones before Unity was released.
...My guess is SE will remove the Level Diff. Correction in WoTG zones? ...well, there's hope I suppose. I guess we'll find out?

How often do you see people fighting apex in Kaznar? Imps? Gears in Nyzul? Maybe on Asura its different because of the overpopulation and people are forced there, but I never see these camps in use.
People will gravitate to the least threatening squishiest target.
People in KRT arent prioritizing the Scorpions with a potential OHKO move and high damage AOE attack, they generally arent going for the nostalgic bone pt, they go for the mostly non threatening bats.
People arent fighting Locus Imps because, even with 8 gorillion meva barfira and baramnesia, Amnesia will still land, aoe silence will still land, and there are only so many remedies/echo drops one can carry.
People arent fighting Inner Kaznar (my statement may not be entirely accurate, I've never seen their camps, just going off the mob list on wiki) because no one wants to deal with multiple blood aggro targets, corse that charm, naraka that dispel 3 buffs and can give itself a heavy PDT, Naraka that can doom/charm, etc
Lets say SE makes a Locus camp in East Ron [s] full of Locus Ladybugs, would you use it? Would you deal with daytime aoe amnesia, day time aoe attack down, day/night single target long stun, or just stick to the popular non-threatening targets?

Locus Imps are good EP, but yes can get unlucky with silence.
Trying to think of other CP camps at 75 they could update.. higher level colibris? Spiders? Crabs they have already, same for fungi, beetles, the cocoon ones.
Maybe another [S] zone?
But why make another EP camp when Limbus exists and gives you limbus points on top?

Ya I get my master levels via limbus, makes limbus a lot more rewarding and no way I would ever find the time to really farm EP outside of limbus.

But why make another EP camp when Limbus exists and gives you limbus points on top? Its nowhere near as good as an EP camp, I think my pointwatch capped out at 70k/hr in Limbus. Which is like 10k better than Omen or Sheol or Sortie, but thats also 3x worse than an EP camp.
At 70k/hr, it will take you 371 hours of limbus to ML50 a job.

The camps are fine, but Limbus is a step in the right direction into providing more opportunities to earn exemplar passively. the zone not being the most efficient is likely by design to avoid congestion.
That's been by gripe with the exemplar system to date, in that it was prdicated on having time to farm them exclusively like we were leveling in the 75 days. Except many people don't have the time or inclination. Passively earning them doing dailies and the end game content seems more reasonable while also leaving options for people to farm them if they can/want to.
I feel like a revamp of dynamis/omen to Limbus level exemplar would also be nice.

i think a monthly offering of dark/alabaster matter, +1 box or an Orb should be what they do. give people the flexibility to choose what they want.
