My commute to my workplace is 25 minutes one way, and I telework from home half my work days. Some people have a longer commute, some have a shorter one. I'm fortunate to have a position where telework is available at all, and I know that many don't have that option, but in this post covid world we live in it's becoming more and more common for office workers to have that option in at least some part. Point is different people have different lifestyles, and some people have busier ones than others. I understand and respect that. And I don't think any of us are ignoring housework. Laundry, cooking, cleaning, dishes, vacuuming... it's all there. That's life. But I still don't think it's unreasonable to believe someone can do all the mandatory stuff and still find enough time in a day to devote 3 hours toward whatever hobby they choose.

I also think that the development team has given us largely bad content ever since odyssey by the way, and I'm not excited by limbus either. I don't play FF11 that much anymore myself, but if I wanted to spend more time in it I could. And that's the point I think most here are making. I think a lot of us can agree with you that the content we've been given is lackluster. It's the way you're presenting your opinions and the (lack of) respect you're showing for others that's getting you the flack you've gotten. Personally I think limbus is a boring repetitive grindfest and there are half a dozen steam game's I'm interested in atm that I'd rather spend time playing instead. But if someone want's to spend days on end grinding it for their whatever they're farming..... what's it matter to me. It's not my free time, so it's not my place to judge.

Sorry people got offended and outraged that I don't want to waste my life on easy, repetitive content
Nobody cares if you do the content.

You didn't.

Not my fault.
Definitely is.

If you were just talking from your own perspective, you wouldn't have been criticized. Implying that nobody can spend that amount of time while still maintaining a life is insulting (and just plain wrong).

I don't do any content that requires me to hand-grind daily. It's not an effective use of time for me. It's perfectly ok to engage with content you like and ignore content that doesn't respect your time. It's less okay to start saying everyone who does engage with it has no life.

Even if you want to do silly hour math, not everyone works 8 hours a day. Cooking is different for everyone; some might order doordash constantly and eat leftovers. Some meal prep for the week. Some people do spend an hour or more daily cooking a fresh dinner, but I don't think it's that common: people who cook daily are much more likely to be organized and quick about it. Knife skills make a world of difference in prep time.

There's variable time in everything. I probably cook about half the time, and even then there's a big difference between making a meatloaf versus throwing a ham steak on the griddle or making pancakes, or just throwing a baked potato in the oven. I don't think many people take the time to make a full lasagna on a regular basis, but if they did they'd probably have leftovers for several days that take a couple minutes to reheat in the microwave. Sometimes I treat myself and order a pizza or go to a restarunt, sometimes I just make a simple sandwich with lunchmeat and throw some chips and a pickle on the side. A pot of soup can last for a few days so one meal like that turn into several. And that doesn't even touch on all the prepackaged stuff that's easy to make in a few minutes.... even if it is less healthy for you. In moderation it's perfectly fine to consume fast meals once in a while.

Saying you always devote X time toward Y activity just isn't life. We don't live our daily lives by a spreadsheet, even when we make one up to plan ahead for it. There's always going to be variance for every individual, and the variance from one person to the next is even larger. There is no such thing as "one time schedule fits all". Some people have no kids, some have 1 kid, some have 5 kids. Some are single and some are married. Just because someone knows what works for their life doesn't mean it fits for someone elses. Making assumptions based off just our own experiences ignores the huge cultural diversity of our society.

the content is a waste of your life
Who are you to be judge, jury and executioner of what is and isnt a waste of your life though? Dare I say that posting on ffxiah dot com is a very inefficient use of your life.

Why is Sortie or Limbus "a waste of your life", but doing Salvage, Vagary, DynaD, Omen, Camping Kings for 9 hours a day, etc was not a "waste of your life"? And I'm saying that as someone who gives zero *** for Sortie.

I'm having a blast playing this game! I am content to give this game my free time! My favorite activity in this game is making gill through crafting and farming. I also enjoy most of the expansions so far. Running around telling people, "you are wasting your life" on a site dedicated to a 20+ year old game is kinda a reflection of the state of yourself tho.

This game is still around simply because it has many fans.

I hope you are doing okay k123.
I'm sure somebody out there loves you.

A couple of topic bans and temporary site wide bans have been issued. Let the Dev Tracker thread be the Dev Tracker thread, or at least about XI. Not about the minutiae of your personal life or your hate *** for a fellow forum poster. Kthx.

Did the dev team just say they are moving from the ps2 kit to blender and/or something? 0w0

(Also, stop browsing non-retail videos on YouTube like a sore loser. I haven't even played XI that much for a while. lol)

Campaign is so amusingly bugged sometimes.

I show up as a Sandorian national, get allied tag, kill 1 Yagudo, and then immediately the battle ends with this. Both sides won! lmao, #PS2Limitations. :)

Found the augs for the new sets, I believe. They're pretty much the same across each piece within a set. I assume the HQ tier determines the maximum rank. I cannot verify which set has which augs, but there are 5 sets. Here are the body stats (other pieces are all lower but have the same stats). Again, before anyone goes too crazy:

  • These are new entries in the DATs revealing augment stats.

  • I cannot verify which item or set each augment goes to.

  • These are rank 30 values. I do not know if each item can be taken to rank 30.

  • Each augment scheme has 5 similar entries. I posted the highest, which are assumed to be bodies.

Aiming to align them:
3 has to be Bravery (BPD could only be SMN)
4 is probably Trust (both tanks for phalanx)

best guess at the others:
5 lean toward Mercy (pet m.acc for drg, ranged acc for RNG)
2 is Justice (pet m.acc for bst and pup)
leaves 1 for Hope

Full dump of stats (again, cannot 100% verify which piece or even which set each augment goes to.. just best guess based on stats):

Weirdly, Hope and Justice seem to line up in order for Head->Body->Hands->Legs->Feet in the dat. However, the other 3 sets have lower stats on the first and 4th entries when you would typically expect legs and head to be higher than hands and feet. There's no way to map them to the items conclusively, so it is still perfectly possible I have the slots mixed up.

The second augment pairing in the initial post with triple attack and store tp augment is almost certainly the duty set. It has thief dancer beast master pairing puppet master and monk right? The pet augs give it away. Only two sets have pet augs and this is the physical set, so those are for beastmaster and puppet master.

That’s a lot of really strong to stats if that’s the case. I’m actually impressed by how good it looks.

You might have it backwards, the 5th set should be the thf/bst/pup

Oh, your right. I didn’t notice the quad attack sets had pet stats too. Three sets have pet stats not two. So maybe. I hope not though. Enmity minus isn’t really monk thief or dancers thing

It's weird to put enmity- on sam and drg

But if the names are right, guess that's what they did

RNG and COR already pretty effortlessly cap enmity-

But oh well
