This could be my retirement announcement. There's no point making new accounts on other servers, 90% of the sales go to asura. Can't jump there anymore either. A ban will actually matter now. They can't be replaced.

They literally ran out of names, and couldn't make new characters. Not the same really.
I hope this is paired with bans to cut down the number of RMT on Asura.

About time. Other servers exist, and some of the smaller ones have been crying out for more players for years.
Has been known for decades that the AH is hard coded per server and cannot be changed. Having it merge across servers is impossible. And introducing a new type of AH would also be very difficult to implement.

They aren't smart enough to per-emptively stop it from happening so there's all the room required.

I don't think this would have been too difficult. They could just restrict outgoing transfers away from Asura to only the bottom half of servers by population. Not really sure why it wasn't like this ages ago.

If anything it's because every other *** has 6 accounts. The number of armies of bots running around and porting together has increased massively - not RMT but geared real players. SE designed this into the game now it suffers because of it.
