127 for Sweetwaters, 129 for Transcendeds, 134 for Glassy NMs, 139 for all the Caturae.

Thanks. We didn't notice any major accuracy or magic accuracy issues with them. Heck I was able to land Break WS's on them without problems.
That reminds me. Full Break is a fantastic weapon skill to use on the Glassy Thinker as it puts four separate debuffs on it in one hit.
Attack Down, Accuracy Down, Defense Down, Evasion Down.

Right but those debuffs are at half potency compared to the rest, so their really just there to be removed. FB's defense down is 12.5%, AB's defense down is 25%. It's why I prefer to open with AB if I know I can stick it and it won't just get wiped soon after.

RDM with a decent melee set can put out some good damage on Gin without risk of skillchaining him. He was using Sequence mainhand but felt as though he could have used AG Murgelis and gotten up AM3 for faster TP gain.

Just glad to see that jobs usually sidelined have a place in Omen.

Note about this, the WAR did over %100 more damage in the group on the last boss and far more on everything earlier. 68% for the WAR, 31% for the RDM, the rest was those random little numbers. The way those numbers work is not 68-31 but 68/31. We finished the easiest NM in the group with less then 10 minutes total time remaining vs our usual 20+ minute buffer. Sad to say but the RDM, in a melee capacity, was largely carried. Also those large Savage Blades you saw early were due to Warcry + Aeonic, they wouldn't of existed had he main handed Merg. Merg is a mediocre melee DD weapon but a useful casting weapon due to it's obscene magic accuracy, same as Tizona. Another WAR, DRG, BLU or ideally a DRK would of been a better addition. If we wanted more support then a GEO or COR would of been better, if we wanted a support do deal damage and buff then COR would of been amazing.

I'm back to find people to disprove my theory that is based entirely on anecdotal evidence. So far in my groups and people I've talked to it seems like midboss is determined based on job of the person who takes the party up.

From what I've seen Blu and Cor get Thinker, Run gets Carver, and Sam gets Gorger.

My groups seems to have issue with Thinker, due to reasons like lag, a crit, not paying attention. So I am looking for anything that lets us avoid it.

Not that much experience on Kyou but Gin loves to drop Dingir Ring for us. Literally everyone got it now.

We've only seen rings (Kin, Gin, Fu) or double scales from bosses so far.

We found a way around it because some of our people are extremely overpowered and this NM punish's you for that. Your melee's (assuming that's who you using) need to throttle down big time and use WS's that have high TP scaling. The NM likes to use a TP move every 8~11 seconds, but under 33% HP that speeds up and he can do back to back TP moves's in seconds. But if he's in the animation of one TP move then he can't do another, so you need to hit him and WS while he's doing one of his many WS's but then turn around when the animation ends and wait for him to do another. Above 50% you need to melee on him but slowly but once he's under 50% he'll have some super regain and under 33% it's damn near Brew level regain. Those times you just hit him / WS whenever he's in the animation of a TP move that isn't Pain Sync.

Doing that every Pain sync hit for 0 or close to it.

I've taken us in on RUN every time, we've gotten mainly Gorgers, and the occasional Thinker. We replaced a GEO in our group with a BLU, and we started getting Craver for the past 4 runs now.

PLD took us in the first days. Had Gorger 4x. This however became pretty random with time with everything about equal.

I've taken groups in on GEO and gotten Thinker, Gorger, and Craver. I don't believe in the whole "the job entering determines floor 3 NM." Has anyone tested is the time of day that you enter determines the floor 3 NM? Or if the day of the week determines the floor 3 NM? It could be something along the lines of blue procing in Abyssea. i.e. - Gorger time, Craver time, Thinker time.

I think people are misunderstanding, I'm not saying who takes the party in to omen at the start. I'm talking specifically about the person who uses the portal on the second floor. Unless you guys always have party leader do that?

As the leader, I hit the portal and we've had a fairly even spread of the NMs. I'm totally convinced that their drops are not at an equal distribution though.

1/1/1 Craver, 1/2/0 Thinker, 1/1/0 Gorger. So a fairly even distribution of things for mid bosses. I think maybe 5/1/0 for Kyou.

I have entered solo on WAR 5 times and have gotten the craver on each one of them. It is a small sample though. That damn thing kills my trusts too easily.

I'm not sure if I've seen anything but the Enki strap from Gorger on my runs. First time anything other than Anu torque (Sherida earring) from craver just now, too.

When entering solo on DRK, I've gotten a roughly even spread of all three types on floor three.

On another note, I decided to use Souleater on the Gorger for kicks tonight.

This is actually a big deal. Did you notice the Gorger losing a good chunk of HP with that melee attack? If so and he perfectly copies Souleater you can literally make him suicide into a PLD if said PLD uses Invincible in time. Souleater will continue to drain HP even if you are hitting for 0 damage.

Gorger seems like it may have a hate reset, though, which would make that especially risky.

Does anyone know if Gorger's absorb copy copies the duration as well, or it just gives him the base duration of your buff?

If it's base duration, then that's ~20 seconds of Souleater remaining after Invincible wears. If it's current duration, then bad luck on Blessing Sync could cause it to wear on him too fast to do much.

Considering how long Dematerialize seems to work on it, I'm thinking he copies the full base duration.

Bring a bard and just have them use the reraise song while sacrificing themselves over and over.

Another way around Souleater's longer duration is to have your GEO swap to Indi-Gravity and follow the Gorger while your PLD kites with movement speed. Keep that up until the duration has ended.

You guys do realize that you'd be wasting a ton of time for minimal gains there. The gorger isn't hard to kill and you don't get any achievements or bonus points for forcing it to use Soul Eater and one shot anyone nearby. It would only reduce it's HP by ~10% every attack round and during every physical TP move, regular melee's do damage faster then that.

There are no augments. It was a misunderstanding or a translation error. The npc makes you trade the stuff twice so it takes 2 days to +3 something.
