Well according to some republican posters on this site he's super smart and stuff cuz he's a billionaire so yeah... Lol... I mean that's what makes trump qualified to run yeah?

What makes Trump qualified to run? He woke up one day, decided to run for President, and did just that.

Same for Clinton.

They both did it. And look where it got us!

What do you want? An outline of what qualifies a person for being President of the US? I promise you this: your outline will disqualify every president in history.

I already said that Clinton is about as poor a choice as Trump. And yet Clinton at the very least understands the post. Trump does not. Trump is a charlatan egomanaiac who needed his kids to boost him in the convention because no one else would.

Again, applies to Clinton too. The few people outside of her family that would boost Clinton would be paid shills.

Which is pretty funny, considering rumors that he was tossing around the idea of running himself around this time last year. I feel like I posted this here after it was murmured among ATX/Dallas compadres.

And yet Mark Cuban makes solid points. Why does a billionaire like Trump continuously shuck shitty products into the market like a two-bit conman? If he's a real estate god you'd think such things beneath him. Why does he refuse to show his financials? Is there something in there so vile he can't be arsed to show it? It's likely he paid little in tax or has been bullshitting his wealth. The egomaniac can't help but continue to lie, lie, lie.

You'd almost excuse the lies if he could handle the post but he can't. Trying to shovel all the work onto Kaisch is telling how Trump views being POTUS. A chore. All he wants is the accolades and doesn't want to do the work. Guy doesn't even read, Jesus. Even Bush was tearing through literary works.

And again I say that there's plenty of confirmed shitty things to say about Trump, please do not credit him by making non-credible, unproven claims that are easily dismissed.

Spoken like someone who hasn't looked at the list of speakers for the DNC. As much as I dislike Clinton as the nominee, she has her big guns out in force backing her.

Trump did not. The RNC big guns stayed home. That's telling.

What I do know is you did not say "he exhibits all the traits of a Klansmen."

One exhibits an observation that is debatable, though largely passes at least a basic truth test (Trump appeals to the KKK, that's a documented fact. Intentionally or not is up for debate.)

The second, however, is a statement of fact which cannot be backed up. It's the difference between editorializing and libel.

Better question is: Why do people buy it? Hell, why did people buy it before he ran for president?

I don't care if he tries to sell Trump Steaks, tuition at Trump U., or whatever he wants to sell. If nobody buys it, then that solves that problem.

Fine then. Go ahead and release your tax returns to the public.

For you, it doesn't make a difference because who would care about your income? I won't release my tax returns to the public because nobody has a right to see what I make.

Personally, I don't think presidential candidates should release their returns either. It shows nothing about the person themselves, and most returns of that caliber are beyond people's comprehension, including the reporters who will do an "analysis" of said returns.

All it shows is how well the CPAs who filed the return did.

That's an unfair analysis. I mean, if you were honest about yourself, you could say the same about Clinton also....

He wasn't voted out of office. He reached his term limit. He was massively popular following 9-11 and was named Time Person of the Year. He wouldn't have been voted out, in all likelihood, had he been able to run.

Personally I'm getting to the point where whoever wins, I just hope there are record-setting third-party votes this year. Johnson and Stein all over the place.

And maybe a handful of write-ins for Alfred E. Newman.
