But she needs to excite the liberal wing of the party, and some senator I haven't heard of, and I follow this crap, might not do that. fonewear said: » I can only stand Comedy Central when South Park is on. The two of them together would've been the nightmare the far right had hoped they'd be getting from Obama, and would've put them in their collective place; Namely, the trashbin of history with their predecessors, the Whigs. So we have two extremely high profile candidates for president, and two nobodies that maybe 1.2 people care about for VP.
Neat. Bismarck.Ihina said: » So we have two extremely high profile candidates for president, and two nobodies that maybe 1.2 people care about for VP. Neat. None who would bail on Trump for that choice either. Still waiting on my Bull Moose candidate to ride in on the back of a...well...bull moose...and destroy everything.
But seriously Pence does not broaden Trump's appeal. he has about 80% of the evangelicals (I have no idea why) and the ones who find him too morally repulsive to vote for... Pence wont help with those.
The choice of Pence might swing a few GOP women and gays to the Dems, but any of those with self interest greater than their hatred of poors or dark skins left long ago. I mean for pity's sake, the log cabin types are still hoping that somehow, someday, the GOP won't condemn them for what they put in their mouths. Pence backed and signed the Religious Freedom Bill in Indiana. Minus Peter Thiel, I think most of not all gays are against Pemce.
