Behemoth Event
Is anyone having an issue where you reach your "Heroism" to Heroic and did not get any rewards? Wasted my whole day doing that crap and didn't get anything. I think you get a trust from it but i'm not sure?
We can't even meet the objectives on asura. Been on behe for the last three hours and so far we've completed 1 objective.
this event should only take 15 min if you got 2 ppl but 6+ people impossable doing this.
Anyone know if Kupofried's aura stacks with the new ring? Since this event is a massive t('-'t) from SE, I have to assume the prize is useless.
I believe Kupofried gives Geo-exp/cp+10%
I went to sleep and 8 hours later... it was at same hp...
Yeah, Jesus Christ, this ***is impossible. You have simultaneously too many people for the skillchain one, and too few for the total WS hits one

You have simultaneously too many people for the skillchain one, and too few for the total WS hits one Total ws hits objective scales up with more people. I think each person adds 10 more hits (eyeballing). It is possible to do 10 WS in 1 min only by waiting for tp if you don't waste any time, so in theory, it should be possible for any number of people to complete this, but there are always some slackers or afk people... I used to think multi hit WSs helped like most people I came across in the event did but either extra hits don't count towards the quote at all or the game only accepts a few number of hits that connects at the same time. If all hits from all WSs were to work, it would be very easy to complete the number of WS hits objective. Offline

any can post on make Skillchain list order?
DarkxStardustxDragon said: » any can post on make Skillchain list order? You can use this for easily figuring out which ws to use next for the first part of the event: http://www.ffxicalculator.com/ "Skillchain" tab gives you a table of possible skillchains according to your selections. It calculates up to 4-step. So if you get to choose more than 4 weapon skills, you can just wait for timeout. Points accumulate and you can get the uniform when you reach a total of 100 points (or you can get it if you get 20 points in one try). Edit: Finally some useful info. Number of weapon skills objective caps at 200. A jp shout for "200 WS" gathered people at west saruta and now it is going pretty smooth. It looks exactly like a FFXIV fight now; animation cluster f*. Btw, I can also confirm that behe needs to be dead to get vana'clock. I stored the one I got in porter, then an option appeared when I talked to the moogle which lets me reobtain it but moogle asks me to kill the behemoth first. Then I got it on another character when it is dead and moogle congratulated for the kill before giving the clock. Offline

Can someone clarify the actual reward requirements for Kupofried? I thought I read that you needed 10 consecutive SC's to win? And then there's something about 200 WS? So can this be soloed or low manned, or do you really need a bunch of people? Thank you. Offline

You need only 100 POints at moogle in city for start next part of event.
After that, go outside tower and speak to moogle for start second part. You need to kill the behemoth two times for get Kupofreid (first time you get Vana'Clock). You need to be present for 10%HP removal of the Behemoth outside. Each 10% are unlocked by completing 1 objective in the log.
You basically wait and go with very few people and cooridnate skillchains or you yell in Jeuno and get 50+ people to complete the 200 raw WS objective. After you removed 10x 10% HP from it you are "Heroic" rank and get Kupofried. If you joined up for an already damaged Behemoth you need to do the whole thing twice. Offline

The behemoths only give 9 points if you joined from 100%, it's 10% of vulnerability for each completed objective except for some reason once you complete the objective at 20% it stays vulnerable until it dies

I killed one at 50%, got the clock when it died, then took the next one to 50% and got Kupofried when I went to reapply status at the moogle. Didn't need to kill it twice. Okay thanks for the responses.
So do tell...howinhell are people supposed to do this with all the random people spamming WS like it's going out of style? I mean, a couple of SAM could easily meet SC objectives...if people would stop f'ing WSing!
Actually, considering the 500/tick regain, ONE SAM could do it. Is there just 1 Behemoth to fight at timed intervals or can multiple groups fight multiple Behemoths?
I personally found it easiest with a smaller group where people will listen if you give out commands in /say. For example, when doing "Make X amount of any skillchain", tell people to just use Jinpu/Bora Axe/Dancing Edge/Fell Cleave. The issue is still a matter of timing, and the NPCs will try to make something if they see an opportunity. Probably the easiest was "Make X amount of Lights" cuz NPCs won't try to connect to a Relic/Empy WS.
Objectives are based on the number of people present, with them capping at 20 people. The "Do X amount of WSs" is impossible if you have less than 20 and someone is afk or lazy, because you have to spam WSs to individually get 10 in for the 60 second duration. Also of note, you can break latents on Trial weapons on the Behemoth. Got my Pick of Trials done in no time and I'll probably get whatever else I was missing. Bahamut.Seekerstar said: » Actually, considering the 500/tick regain, ONE SAM could do it. Yeah, I was planning on cheesing and using a few spare trial weapons I haven't finished yet...
I tried the /say suggestions yesterday. Either it got lost in chatspam or they ignored me. I also teamed up with a few others, and we tried coordinating our WS... Which didn't work because of the other players not using the correct WS (or any WS at all, in some cases). I wonder if trying this at about 3am my time would work better. One thing the Japanese players have above most Americans is that they work together. |
