A couple notes on the Izuna/Izuna setup, mine is nearly identical except:
1) Head: I get Taeon head beating Skormoth in nearly every scenario. In fact, Hattori+1 beats both pretty easily if you can take advantage of the Innin DA+9% bonus... but that's obviously situational if indeed the bonus only applies to hits from behind the mob.
2) Rings: I still get Rajas/Epona winning for rings (though it's fairly close).
3) I don't have Rawhide body, so I'm using Taeon ATM. Hattori+1 also one of the top choices even for TP, but I've just gotten into Vagary clears so also lack that right now (it's a priority for me).
4) Back: obviously situational depending on Acc needs, Bleating loses to Yokaze when you can take advantage of Yokaze's Acc.
5) And the big one... Izuna augments, I still am not getting C.Dmg+5% beating C.Rate+4% (or even 3% for that matter). I'm convinced on the STR/AGI augment over Delay though.
FWIW, my Hi set is basically same as the one on page 1 (except NQ Garuda Rings), and while I don't yet have Hattori+1 body I'm using it here for spreadsheet purposes (as it's what I'll be using once I get the clear).

Tried manually removing 10% dmg for 10% rate and dmg came on top. I'm not sure. Maybe different target. Different buffs.
I have C.Rate+24%, C.Dmg+32% vs Tojil with 56% Chaos Roll, 15% Def Down, BoostSTR and WS Dmg: 6664.

hey kaeviathan, what do you think about Lapidary tunic for a nuking body?
It is nice, but I would still prefer the Taeon set, since you can raise its INT and both MAB & MACC. But, If I were to be playing right now (and since I don't own any Taeon set) I would be using that.

I never did test STR/AGI or STR/DEX aug on Izuna in the spreadsheet. But If I were to choose either one of them, I go with STR/DEX.

I actually redid Dusk augs on my offhand today (was delay -9%, to go with DMG+17 main). Was sorta going to be OK with whichever of STR/DEX or STR/AGI I got first... and got a STR/DEX+13. Pretty pleased with it so far!
I also agree that I prefer STR/DEX in general. Not only does it help normal TP phase since DEX adds to Acc and crit rate, but as far as WS I tend to prefer Shun's consistency over Hi anyway (unless I am trying to close a Darkness SC).

Kamu > Shun does Light. It'd be pretty fun to use if SE ever gave kamu that damage buff it missed in december, scumbags.

prettier though, i guess i never used it enough to see that. i know mods are worse and doesn't scale. and suffers the same acc, but doesn't it still have the att bonus on it?

It does have an attack bonus applied, its what makes it decent in some scenarios. If Kamu were at least 3.0ftp, you'd use it alot more when you can't abuse Innin or fighting high level targets.

I think Metsu > Shun is light also, for all you relic owners out there.

I think i'm having issues with my spreadsheet.
I'm testing the -10% delay augment vs STR/DEX and STR/AGI against Tojil and I'm getting that STR/DEX is better, FOR BLADE: HI!!!

Was looking at optimal dmg output including Lugra set and Enforcer's.

Np, im considering organizing sets by weapons (seeing how gear varies with the weapon).

An example would be creating a Blade: Hi set for Kikoku (It's very likely the set would differ than that of Blade: Hi for Izuna).

One thing I never added unto spreadsheet is the Store TP +10 effect from the ninjutsu spell. It bothers me that it's duration is short.

I need some info on Katanas.
Did some tests but they were very superficial and not taking into account a plethora of variables.
Mijin
Really nice OH, doesn't work well if dualwielded compared to other solutions.
Path A and Path B are close but tipically I got better results from Path A
Raicho
Results were above my expectations. Raicho+1 is less than 1 dps under perfect aug Izuna, and getting perfect aug x3 on Izuna isn't very realistic for the majority of the player base.
Raicho+1/Raicho too worked nice, oddly enough. It was ~3 dps under Raicho+1/Mijin(A)
Raicho+1/Achiuchikapu was ~1 DPS under Raicho+1/Mijin(A).
Raicho+1/Taikogane was ~9 DPS under Mijin(A) (I can't explain this...)
My final impressions are that Raicho+1 is a surprisingly good option. So good that if you don't already have a perfect aug Izuna, it might be worth not to bother.
Mijin(A) is a really nice OH but the difference with Achiuchikapu is so small you might consider if you want to spend the gil for it or not (granted that it's "only" 4,5mils gil)
Can someone provide more reliable, accurate and detailed tests on these katanas?

One last small thing to note is that Katanas like Tancho+1 (I was using this so far as my mainhand) and Mijin also have ranged acc/ranged att stats, whereas Izuna, Raicho and Achiuchikapu do not.

Beside looking cool (looks like a katana version of Odium stats wise) it doesn't look anything special?
Raicho+1 is better for pure damage.
That's before taking into account Ochu's augments of course.

Well, can pair it with Chidori or the Eosuchus Club for a nice mab set on NIN I guess.
Haven't toyed with that since Abyssea days.
With Hyorin: Ichi, Ni and San I could pull out surprising damage back then :D
