Sigurd's Descendants: The Art of Dragon Slaying.
So it sounds like there is some small value at the risk of dying, nothing a gearswap toggle can't fix I guess. Free damage on fights where DT will keep you alive I guess.
Pretty sure you can cap non-aug breath dmg with just relic hat +2/3, and the only aug armor that wont really hurt much is the reive cape everything else is augmented taeon/acro

My only question is, how is he making it so his wyvern doesn't attack or do actions? He just has pet animations off.
You can see it's doing attacks/breaths in the chatlog just no animation. pretty cool, having trouble finding that in effect settings, or is it a command input?
I think its because i have some effects filtered out. Not exactly sure which one that though.
Curious how to calculate this in regards to a formula.
For example we have a Relic WS. -Gierskogul = 3.0 FTP -Relic WS Bonus +40% (Is this applicable to all hits like the augment?) -Augment R15 Bonus= +20% Damage (Applies to all hits) Wiki States: Quote: Hidden Effect: Geirskogul damage +40%. At Rank 15 Augment level, total damage bonus is +68% because they are different terms in the equation that get multiplied together. I am probably wrong on this but... WSDMG Trait + Wyvern = +31% WSDMG (Including all hits) Primary Hit: (3.0 FTP X68% ) = 5.04FTP X 31% = 6.6 FTP? Auxiliary Hits (DA/TA/QA): (1.0 FTP X68%)= 1.68 X 31% = 2.2 FTP? Am I Atleast close on that? Fenrir.Skarwind said: » am probably wrong on this but... WSDMG Trait + Wyvern = +31% WSDMG (Including all hits) Primary Hit: (3.0 FTP X68% ) = 5.04FTP X 31% = 6.6 FTP? Top Show Op Very close, but AFAIK wyvern bonus and drg trait are separate too, so not x1.31, but x1.21 x1.1 So it would be equivalent to 6.7fTP with all the bonuses you listed and 2.236 for multihit procs. Quote: The upper limit for the equipment attribute "Enhances effect of wyvern's breath" has been increased. Means healing breath is increased too?

Ragnarok.Martel said: » Agrestic said: » Claims that Wyvern breath effect limit is now 96/256 https://x.com/ooonkcerk/status/1921930514870460535 Account seems to do a lot of equipment testing going by its history so probably reliable. So that leaves us basically only getting the +3 Armet's full potency(8/256 gain), and maybe glassblower belt(5/256) and lancer's torque(5/256), total gain 18/256(7%~). And there's a macc cost for changing the neck/waist slots for elemental breaths. So, yeah, I'm left hoping that they messed up their testing, and that it's actually higher. But I doubt this is the case. EDIT: oh, and I forgot that updraft mantle also has wyvern HP+100. So when comparing it to brigantia for healing breaths, this is also a factor. Note that all values are calculated. I'm not subbed to actually test anything directly. Preupdate max values, No DB. Healing Breath: 2625 Elemental Breath:1086 Post update HB with Brig: 2837 HB w/ updraft, Lancer's,Glassblower: 2896 So for HB Brig is still behind. But it's not a huge difference. And leaving Lancer's and glassblower's in storage could save space. And any DRG will have a Brigantia's anyway. I will also note that Updraft only beats Brig here if you also use Lancer's and glass blower's. Without them it drops to 2719. A final factor to consider for healing breath is that so far as I can recall(can't login to check) DRG doesn't typically even have this much freaking HP. So these HB values are overkill to begin with. Can likely drop some amount of potency and work in better DT/Meva to keep you alive till the HB lands. EleBreath w/ Brig: 1110 EleBreath w/ Updraft, lancer/glassblower: 1147 So again, brig is behind in direct damage. However, you could make an argument from wyvern macc for Brig. You can augment it with +30 pet macc. And you'd keep the macc pieces in neck and waist. +15 on waist. Neck value.. depends a bit on the value of wyvern level+. If it gives as much macc as it does phys acc, then it's like +37. If not, then +20 from Adad. So that's 65~82 macc(depending on neck choice and wlvl potency). Or 35~52 if you don't bother to make a pet macc Brigantia's. For the cost of 37 dmg a breath. And you get to leave Lancer's torque and Glassblower's belt in storage. So, while Brigantia's is slightly weaker in general, I feel like you can make fair arguments for using it anyway. I dunno when/if I'll be able to resub to verify 96/256 as the cap, but I feel like there's a reasonable chance it's already accurate. It's a 50% increase from the previous cap. EDIT: I, uh... completely forgot about master levels giving wyverns more HP when mathing all this. So the numbers all adjust upwards with more MLs. That said, the gear comparisons should hold as everything just goes up, and the benefit of each piece remains comparatively the same. Asura.Eiryl said: » Freeplay is this week Ragnarok.Sekundes said: » Asura.Eiryl said: » Freeplay is this week Has been a thing since they released it, despite the rules not explicitly saying as much Well, one of my Breath+ items did get caught in a paid wardrobe, though it was on a mule at the time. Fortunately, Armet, cape, and lancer's torque should be enough to test the currently proposed breath+cap of 96/256.
And after pulling my hair out for a bit when I couldn't get my wyverns's HP values(tested with relic body) to make any sense I finally recalled that master levels give wyverns HP and things came together. <,<; So, I mathed things out I can confirm the the damage values I'm getting are consistent with breath+ capping at 96/256, and adding lancer's torque on top of Armet+Brig did nothing. So... yes. New Breath+ cap is 96/256. I don't know anything about wyvern breaths or how powerful breaths can be uncapped. Can you explain to me how breaths would be OP if there was no breath cap? What are the implications, like 9999 restoring breaths? 10,000 damage breaths every WS? How much we talking. Just curious why there's a breath cap at all, there's only so much gear for it right?
With its current formula theres no reason it cant be given the numbers players put out, comparatively its fallen way behind which is a shame cause it was at least for a time bridging the missing DPS a drg had to other top end DDs and thats just been replaced by making drg itself more powerful, the wyverns HP isnt high enough nor is there enough (safe) breath gear to slot in for it to a game changer imo. Plus theres the fact the wyverns macc is shaky even when it picks the correct breath

Even if you fully maxed out breaths, hit ML 50, and uncapped breath+(or raised the cap to 120/256) you'd only hit a 1331 elemental breath. And a 3655 healing breath. Healing breath is rather limited by the player's max HP, and the trigger frequency/conditions. It's spammable... on /mage, if you're dropping back to low enough HP that fast. Elemental breaths, well... I mean... It's free damage, essentially. But it's a drop in the bucket compared to player inflicted damage. The funniest thing is, that if I take those numbers and recap breath+ at 96/256 we get 1246 Elemental breaths(-85 dmg) and 3215 Healing breaths(-440). The effects of even fully uncapping the stat aren't all that significant. EDIT, and random aside: We have healing breath IV. But we're using the same elemental breaths as we did at level 1. Flame breath IV, SE? Not that I expect it. But then I didn't expect that cap change. And all in all it's a minor thing. Probably more important things SE could work on. lol. I mean some of those baby dragons have been alive for 23 years now..
Surely they should have grown at least a little. But no, still baby dragons. Still dying at the drop of a hat. Decided to gather wyvern stat data for levels 119~125. There's no data on the higher wyvern levels on the wiki, so I wanted to get that documented. Retested 119~122 mostly to check my numbers.
Tested Wyvern HP via Relic body Jump add effect. Other stats via checkparam. Below are the values for a Wyvern at ML32 DRG across 119~125. No Param bonus active. No gear aside from an ilvl 119 wep, or Gae Buide V at certain wyvern levels(123~125 require Gae Buide.) Keep in mind that these are not base values, and are being modified by various sources. The overall gains seem very consistent, and aren't increasing or decreasing notably as level rises. Between its wacc+ and wlvl+ Gae Buide V adds 146~148 wacc. Depending on what level the wyvern was before adding the wlvl+3. Not that this does much more than help the wyvern function as a Spirit Link TP battery, and feed the mob more TP, but... Also, assuming that wyvern level+ adds w.macc, which.. it should, but.. untested. And.. assuming that the macc matches the physical acc. Wlvl+ gear is pretty much always going to be the best macc+ for elemental breaths. By a pretty large margin over other options in the same slot. Too bad breaths still suck. Even after they raised the Breath+ cap. Well, I'll still take it though. Ahhh, and wlvl should also add a very significant amount of meva. And there is BST testing showing the pet lvl+ was adding meva. I still haven't really done anything to put wyvern durability/meva to the test since getting Gae Buide V though. So I'm lacking in fun anecdotes. main="Gae Buide", (plus 3 pet level)

Can confirm, H G E boss design is rough on the wyvern. Dawn mulsims really worked well and SE really needs to make them stack. |
