honestly it depends on what you're using/considering current TP sets.

In my DT set I mix nyame B and gleti. Replacing nyame B has big gains in DPS but replacing gleti's nets you gains in meva. I am working on alternating to balance dps and meva.

DRG has pretty bad itemization for balancing dps/meva/pet stats but the clemency set finally gives a decent balance.

Sim basically has flamma head + 4/5 clemency with only diarmuid + utu grip locked. Require PDT-50, MDT-50 and remove hjarr/flama/sulevia/carmine/vim and you get 5/5 clemency

That means they're all good pieces, but I would balance whatever I'm replacing (DPS or meva) and probably score the head/hands lower since gleti's gauntlets are highly valuable for petDT set and head has lower QA/competes with flamma in nonDT sets. Body has pet DT, feet have wyvern lvl+1, legs have wyvern regen+, not sure if swapping head would lose wyvern HP+ during WS or if it happens before the server checks.

My priority order is like:
body > feet > legs > hands/head

Assuming the above post is also relevant if you don't have Gae Buide, but have Trish/Ryunohige/Gungnir?

It's also wild to me that Flamma head is still so viable for DRG over other pieces in a DT TP set.

Doesnt change much, no.

Not much has been added to drg tp wise and flammas already has the near perfect stats for a TP piece, bit glassy but still good

Yea it's either Flama or Odin head. I personally rock Odin for the DT and to lean into double attack more.the L8mb7s is going to be a contender when fully augmented.

So prepping my Wife's Dragoon.

so her is my question in the case she foes /sam (polearm)
haso + 5/5 empathy wyverne would gives 10+10ja haste for a total of 20.
Adding in 43 from magic that would be a total of 63
leaving me with only a need of 80-63 = 17 to cap haste.

Does it make sense to gear for the situation of hasso+wyrvern out to do a lower haste tp set with more MA/STP and only good suggestions for it ?

You'd have to go out of your way to undercap your haste, because the best belts all have haste on them (Sweordfaetels +1, Sailfi +1, Ioskeha Belt +1). Kentarch's is lacking haste for Da/stp but Alabaster Earring if you're wearing it has 5. Unless you're using some unusual build that has like Hjarrandi body/helm and Gletis breeches, you're almost never at low haste. Maybe in MDT build, but that's specific to defense. I don't know how you could intentionally under gear haste and come out with an advantage STP/MA , the difference doesn't seem that large to matter, so idk

Noob question (leveling DRG so I can try it out endgame later), can the jumps with all the JSE for TP bonus etc give enough for doing WS > jump > WS > high jump > WS? Or is it less TP than 1000.

The idea of doing chains like that somewhat interested me.

Yes, especially with the proper STP/Jump build, Samurai Roll, and even better with Hoxne Ampulla (a luxury). Even without those things, Spirit/Soul Jump with your Wyvern present will almost always produce >1000TP (Soul Jump specifically can leapfrog you straight to 3000%). Jump/High Jump without Samurai Roll or a Double Attack proc might land you under 1000

Anyone fine tuned a DRG engaged ampulla set? 100% DA allows you to get kinda creative...

ItemSet 402703

Ton of STP/Acc. 9% TA. Feet were kind of a game of "how squishy do I wanna be?" vs having some beefiness in this set. I went with the better defensive attributes. Assumes Gleti's is R30~. I especially like the hands in this set because you get some nice STP, a little regain, and an additional 8% DT for the wyvern.

Dagon Breast. is a consideration if you want the SBII. STP14 is a lot to pass up on empy body, though. Flamma head if you want to die quicker. Same with Carmine feet.

Lentus grip would be required to make this work, but...

StoreTP: /SAM would give you 20, and an 11 Sam Roll with Rostam would be 72, meaning you'd need 99 in gear to hit that. Malignance set + Peltast's Plackart +3 and Sulevia's Mask would give you 55, 10 from Vim Torque +1, 8 from Dedition and 5 from another earring, 16 from Chirich +1 and Lehko, 10 from a cape, 6 from Sweord +1 makes 110 so you have room to swap a little.

You would hit 1002 TP with a successful weaponskill and successful double attack round. WS, Swing, WS, Swing, ad infinitum.

Someone should probably check my math.

Unfortunately the only piece of Malignance that DRG can wear is the weapon and of course the earring, so that puts a wrench in your set already.

To briefly revisit this...

Hjarr body/helm doesn't strike me as that crazy of a pair? Pair those with like, Empy hands (4%), Relic or Gleti's legs (5%), Flamma feet (2%), Sailfi+1 (9%) = 20% Haste.

Which is fine for Hasso up/wyvern out, but yea I see Daneblood's question as "what about times when wyvern dies or Hasso is not up for whatever reason?". And to answer that, I'd say: Alabaster Earring is a good answer.

For some reason I thought they did... That does throw a wrench in things, but if you can get 21 STP in hand/leg/feet combined you would still be able to do it. Gleti's gauntlets has 8, Relic legs has 10, and Carmine Greaves +1 has 8 for a total of 26 so there's still a little bit of wiggle room.

I run this one for Limbus trash, or something similar

ItemSet 402704

You can make swaps in plenty of places for improvements (legs -> Gleti's, head -> Sulevia +2, body -> Empy+3, belt -> Sweordfaetels +1). Sometimes I don't use it with Ampulla and I make a couple of changes, but most times it's just easier to roll with this. DRG gets some nice Triple Attack gear you can put in the mix, but I haven't put together a set for that. But after looking at your set and suggestions, I might make a Version 2 of the above.

DRG is squishy, but in Limbus it's kind of a non-issue. The initial hate is usually on the GEO or BRD, Grace effects bloats your health, you have Restoring Breath for quick one-time heals, Super Jump if you're in a pinch, and you get healed every floor. I'd be more worried about taking damage in Odyssey C vs Limbus, in which case I have a "base DPS" set that is loaded with defensive and offensive traits, and Hoxne just to guarantee the extra swing. I don't feel the need to be overly risky on DRG because dying and losing your wyvern basically turns you into a potato until you can call it back. Not worth the ~1% dps gain

I thought ostro greaves were kind of locked in for jumps due to +base TP

Edit: Except spirit jump of course

Edit 2: Apparently Ostro doesn't increase base TP gain, it just adds 40 TP onto the end. So I don't know anymore.

You spend money for Hoxne on "Limbus trash"?

Still appreciate you sharing your sets! Just not quite a use case I'd bother with ;)

Ostro are still best for jump and high jump. Spirit jump has empy feet, and on Soul jump a sufficiently high STP value can overcome Ostro's jump TP bonus. Hoxne does not change any of this.

Also, while Jump TP bonus, sadly, doesn't proc again on additional hits, it is modified by STP. So that 40 TP will get enhanced by all the STP you have.

Ostro are also.. defensively awful. They're only on for a secodn at a tiem durign jumps, but.. you can get flattened during that. I have a DT jump toggle for when I'm concerned with that.

They also have rather low acc. But that's also rarely an issue on DRG, and when it is, it's typically addressed via buffs/food, not by gearing for more acc.

You do you. I don't care about gil anymore the way other people do. It's a number on a screen that translates to another number on the screen in one way or another, but it's not real money unless you bought it. You trade your gil (fake monetary currency) for damage (more numbers) to make the monster's numbers (HP) go down, and make things faster (your time, numbers). I really don't look at gil the way you might look at real money, it's meaningless and has zero value outside of the video game, unless I choose to sell it, which I never will. I choose to use it to increase my damage in the video game I get enjoyment out of playing <6hrs per week. I also used Hoxne ampulla to do my peculiar foes on DRK, its incredibly fun. spending your gil to increase your fun in the game is exactly what you do otherwise in every other area, Hoxne just is a more direct conversion.

Also, I did the math and checked my monthly spending vs my earnings. I have never burned more than like 4m a month using Hoxne on a lot of random stuff, and I use it A LOT. I look at the things I buy, and it boils down to:

Meds (panaceas, remedies, oils wings elixirs) - less than 1m a week
Food (guydon, grape +1, sushi+1, miso ramen) - 1m/month. I use green festival food for other around the way trash, that I stockpiled stacks of
A few shards from delve to eat for free plasm, to save me time from entering Delve
An airmid's gorget every week or so (like 3/month)

That's literally...it. I have nothing to buy anymore, I have most items in the game except for Crep cloak and a couple regal hands, which I use my monthly orbs for if I don't sell them. I don't buy Limbus sets besides Revelation (which I already have), because I don't have the matters to augment them, so it's not necessary now. Sortie doesn't cost my anything but time. Limbus grind is more time. Ambuscade earns me gil, as does Segments and other random events. I really don't know what else I can save for and use my gil on.

I earn per month/update period:

1m/week = 4m/month
3 stacks of swarts/month = 27-30m
Ambuscade Rewards - 20-25M or so
Segments - I might go 10x/month, so maybe 10m
Between deeds, my single mule orbs and my orbs (+peculiar foes), I probably get like 10-12 Mars Orb I can sell or use. If I sell 2.5m/ea, thats like 20m/month or something like that.

So overall, I make like 60-80M/month, and this is no exageration. I don't buy Master Levels, and every so often I save up enough gil to buy something like Balder Earring +1, because it's just currency sitting there doing nothing. I can run Hoxne Ampulla every day for a month (I actually do) and not burn thru my monthly earnings, and I am a very casual player right now with no multiboxes or excessive grinding habits.

Hoxne is not anywhere near as expensive as you think. I also didn't buy my Hoxne ampulla (got it on my last Venus orb a couple months ago), so I saved 80m, which I was about to spend it on. Right now, I have no plans to buy anything unless I get 300k units and 30/30 matters, so gil is not doing anything but staring me back in the face.
