I'm really glad I didn't buy a ps3 for 13. I was tempted to(I have an obsession with FF etc), but man would that have been regretful...I dodged an expensive bullet there.
But I wanna go back into consoles and I feel 15 is the right time(and also cause I'm not missing KH3 for anything!)

I've used mine for a lot of other games too though, especially GTA5, so it has definitely been worth the money
Just annoyed the game I wanted to play on it never came out lol

Oh God! I've noticed the trend that was mentioned in P&R with my dad minus the NASCAR in the past decade. Love my dad, but he's become a pill after a couple of events that I think exacerbated it (or I'm just using those events as an excuse).
Poker/Trivial Pursuit with a smidge of booze gets weird when my dad comes to visit. My mom and dad getting together is a head-scratcher. On the flip-side, my in-laws are life-long Dems.

My dad has gone with Fox News/Breitbart this election cycle step-for-step. Trump-Carson-Trump-Cruz. I've been putting off the question for our Sunday calls since he went Cruz in our primary. :/

I try to stick to "safe" subjects on the internet, so pop culture generally rules the day, be it games, music, movies, etc. And even then my opinions get strong and people get upset.

The problem I've always noticed is people are too rigid in their ideas. Either one dimensional or stuck in the binary black and white perspective. I like to shake things up hoping they'll realize that ***is nebulous and gray, and to keep and open mind.

i've had this discussion with zah before. we used to talk philosophy and debate things, but then when... a certain group of people started getting involved in the political discussion it was no longer a discourse, it was them trying to prove everyone else wrong. which attracted their equivalent from the other side who had to prove they were right. at a certain point ffxiah became incapable of a legitimate discussion. everyone who still wanted to post was convinced that only they had the right view of the world. i actually left the forums for like a year because of it.

Take the good with the bad/trial and error, or maybe we're just too cozy observing from our splintery fence?

When I used to frequent these forums back when it was still really busy, it was a bit of a toxic environment for any kind of mature discussion. That is why I stuck to trolling idiots most of the time.
Everyone is entitled to their own view, unless of course that view is something clearly offensive. A lot of people on the internet, regardless of age, don't understand that.
