If you're not capped on fSTR during resolution, then you have other things to worry about besides which earring to use. And not really, moonshade is always the best earring for Resolution, Bale is second place if your attack isn't capped depending on mob, third place if it is.

with this set without any buffs your @ 14.4 for a 7 hit build without any buffs, now lets replace the bale earring for a Moonshade earring with TP regain the total delay is 5.39 seconds that means that your getting an extra 5 tp added to your tp phase that still doesn't bring you anywhere near to getting a 6 hit build and even if you consider replacing something else with 5 store tp just cuz you have the chance to get 5 tp for 5 seconds it just does not have the pay off. Yea 60 dmg does not seem like a big deal but overall that 60 extra dmg adds up better than 5tp per second If half your WS are @300tp then yes Bale wins, but the fact that you even have 300tp half the time suggests you do not need Regain at all. (Pardon my ignorance, I rarely play).

But when going for regain sets, valkyries with TA does pull ahead. Also Austar made a huge point. That 1 regain isn't doing ***for you especially since phorcys lets you 6 hit Ragnarok or any GS for that matter very easily excluding any regain from buffs. What is 1 tick a regain from an earring really going to do for you if you're losing % on parses due to your ftp on Resolutions being lower than what it could be. Go for optimal not acceptable. I'll stick to what i think is best, i've played the meta game for many of years in many of game. While something is a percent of a percent better i'm not going to give up what i favor in persuit of a tiny bit more dmg / Goodluck.

Well what you think is best is wrong, can favor something all you want but let's not pretend it's the best option.

And even with TP regain I still did the same number of ws it didn't add any or did i do any less without it. Sad part is MNK is a better DD.

Random small amounts of regain will never outweigh an option that adds damage on every WS until 285ish TP. Then go post in a mnk thread? Wouldn't Pot bomblet or a few other thigns raise your mnks DPS by more then .7? let's make an thread there since unlike drk, mnks dmg is heavily based on melee atks Is that a brisk mask? Completely correct, not only that but bonus tp work for every job Regain TP is pretty much of waste of potential additional damage you can get from Bale Earring in your TP phase or Ghillie Earring +1 if your not capping atk and accuracy.
