"Older folks" are just kids that have been around longer than you. During "all that time" we haven't lost anything, we've been gaining experience. Which you will be unable to appreciate until you are "older", so shaddap.

The only advantages children have mastering video games is an abundance of free time granted by the complete lack of other worldly responsibilities. I hope your parents ship you off to a dude ranch to break your back with some hard labor this summer so you can get a good whiff of all this horse hockey you be shovelin.

Well since the only video game I play is FFXI (other than skylanders with my kid) I'm not that worried about it. But thanks for your concern ...

I met my husband on XI ^-^ we were introduced through friends, and immediately clicked, months later met in rl and got married not too long after, and had a baby. She's a toddler now :3 It was funny how it all worked out, and we still play together!
Sometimes I joke that we can never quit playing cause "Look honey, it's where we first met!" :P But we share all our gear/gil and lowman everything together, so the game is a lot more fun than it was solo, so it keeps us around. Also, our toddler likes to sit there with 1-3 xbox controllers in her lap and smash buttons and pretend she's playing with us....Oh, my little fish slave in training~

I always tried to get my Mom to try it but she refused :\ She's a long time FF and other RPG fan but doesn't like people.
