Random Question thread (FFXI related)

Then +1.5 would become 50%, +3.625 would become 262.5% and +4.75 would become 375%?
Numbers on Bg wiki has no sense, unless its just really +1.5% attack lol. There should be no "%" there if that's suppose to be multiplier and there should be "x" instead of "+" too.
EDIT: Actually if you go to source of this (link to jp wiki at bg wiki's Exudation page), they have it right as ×1.5|×3.625|×4.75 I dont think those values are that high considering we are talking about job, which is very attack starved before buffs and WS itself has low fTP . They basically wanted a WS that scales damage with TP, but only in low attack scenario and they wanted to kinda guarantee you full damage potential of this WS being accessed at some tp threshold even against high def mobs. Same concept as with Kamu ignoring 25% def and having +125% att, while also having rather low damage potential limited by low ftp .

BGwiki reports 1.5% but that's an error because in the original source (JPwiki) it's "1.5x".
JPwiki reports numbers in % for both Blade: Shun and Requiescat.
Exudation is the only exception with the current format, without %.
I mean 375% attack bonus sounds a bit too big to me but, I dunno, maybe it's real?
Between 375% and 3.75% I'd be leaning for the former.
I think the % on BGwiki is just a simple mistranslation error of the guy who updated the Exudation page from the JPwiki data.
Edit:
Too late, just saw your edit. Yeah I guess it's like we said then. Thanks for your insight!

Anybody knows where I can find the "+DMG" value of Ascelpius and Bhima Path A and Path B?
Those values are absent from BGwiki.
No clue where I could them from honestly.
Some data/text description related to Oboro?

Wow Chiaia! So much trust in your galka buddy Sechs' reading skills! Thank you! -___-
Found myself the answer btw. It's DMG+8 for Asclepius and DMG+ for Bhima.
Gonna Edit BG-wiki now!

Yes from the individual weapon page, which is where I was looking. I just updated the pages and filled the missing +8 value in both pages.

Is there a reason why I'm not getting +1 items from Nyzul? Is it a lower drop rate? Does floor matter?

Campaign only applies to the level 99 version, if you happened to enter the level 75 version?

The +1 boxes only come from NMs in Uncharted.

like... //findall?
By Autocast 2020-10-15 21:52:39
//findall feather - search all chars
//findall :Yojimmbo feather - search only listed char
This is assuming you are in fact using findall which I assume you are.

/itemsearch is the in game authorized search version, findall is the "better" windower version

for itemsearch you have to be exact in your search.
/itemsearch "One Byne Bill" with proper caps and everything or it doesn't work... it's dumb (or 1 Byne Bill I'm not even sure, it's a ***search system)

Does anyone know if there's a glitch with Qultada? Currently able to get 3 rolls from him. Cast, Chaos > Fighter's > Evoker's (Chaos is cancalled). Dismiss Qultada, Summon Qultada > Chaos Roll (will always be his 1st roll, currently sitting at 3 rolls). I don't ever remember this stacking before, usually he overwrites the previous rolls. Didn't test with Corsair's roll yet. Anyone recall if this always was like this or did they goof something up?

it's not a temporary bug, always been like that.
Each time you re-summon Qultada he's considered a different COR.
It's like kicking a COR from your pt and inviting a new one, he'll be able to give you 2 more rolls.
More or less it's the same if you send away Qultada and summon him away, it's considered a different COR.

I swear I had never noticed nor experienced that before. Thought he would always overwrite the last ones used. Thanks.

I've always been wondering something about the pop windows of monsters and NMs.
Sometimes a monster (even a normal one) that has, say, ~10 mins pop window, "skips" a window and pops after ~20 mins instead of 10.
I've seen this behaviour so many times in so many different situations.
I wonder... how does it work exactely? Monsters have a random chance to skip 1 pop window? Or what?
What even is the purpose of such a feature?

I've noticed similar behavior as well with placeholders for NMs. I'd first wonder if such "skips" are designed or screwups in the game. And considering I don't give SE much credit for such nuances easily, I've always deferred to Occam's Razor as an answer I could believe. There's so much in this game that little things like the ability for something to "skip" a pop seems like excessive work for little true game variance.

I feel like I'm misreading the post, but as far as pop windows are concerned, they vary in their duration. Pop windows = a window of time after a certain amount of time has passed that a NM can spawn. Ex: 10m - 2hr.

You need to be more specific. Where? Which NM's PH? There is several PH that for example share spot and pop in totally different places ie: beetle in jugner.

Like Toralin said above, I've seen this behaviour multiple times in several different circumstances over the years, but I don't really remember the details.
The only one I can talk about is the one that happened yesterday: Lumbering Lambert.
The PH in theory is ID 134 (I was keeping an eye on ID 087 too, just in case).
The repop of Battering Ram is ~10 mins and as a matter of fact ID 134 always repopped ~10 mins after the previous one (unless Lumbering or Bloodtear popped in its place, of course).
I've been camping it for roughly ~30hrs these past few days, alone in the zone, and two times the Battering Ram ID 134 didn't take ~10 mins to spawn, but exactely twice as much (~20 mins).
It's like it "skipped" a pop window, those two times.
For those of you that visit Bg you already know the premise of this thread but for those that don't, it's simple.
