Playing with Fudo sets and yeah should use Rose. Maybe even 6hit after Fudo, 5hit after Shoha (if you wanna make Duplus work)...if I have time I'll math it out.

Too tired to try to figure it out on my own, I'll mess up somewhere and come out with like 28 TP after the first WS swing(Joking). edit: and I now realize that I worded my first edit poorly, I blame lack of sleep for that as well.  Might want to consider Murasamemaru maybe. So with the partial set bonus, going off the link to testing above, how about something like this for TP?

In that set you should use Pole/Duplus. You still maintain 5-hit with Kaiten, and 5-hit with Shoha. Using Rajas/Brutal/Tenryu Hakama+1 for Shoha will maintain 5-hit - even if only 1 hit lands. Using a 2nd Pyrosoul instead of Rajas will keep 5-hit aswell, but rely on Shoha to land 2 hits. Does Kaitens STP AM affect the initial ws to activate it too?
You make the assumption that Tenryu Hakama +1 are actually crafted on Shiva. So that can't be factored into my set yet.

I'm hoping the set bonus gives enough haste to leave in rose for somen +1 while using the usu feet and hands. If not I'll most likely use zelus and duplus. Using the spread sheet, I can't find any combo that beats this:
Works for Kaiten and Shoha (need to WS in 16stp for Shoha) I haven't worked in Namas yet, if its even worth it. Saotome Sune-ate +2 work. I originally thought dropping 1 STP would lower your WS return further than .1 TP but I guess not.

Shoha is a 2hit WS and the WS sets stack DA/QA. Very safe to assume atleast 2 hits are landing.
TPing in 43stp and WSing in 16-29stp puts me at 3.27 rounds per WS. 30stp during WS takes it to 3.26. WSing in 15stp takes it to 3.63. So the 16 in stp is correct. I made a mistake by calculating 2nd hit as +1 STP instead of 1.5 STP. My sets are based on 2 hits landing aswell so I agree with you there. I still think that the downgrades in shoha set using duplus instead of rose strap in situations with no regain, is not worth it. I'll check spreadsheets myself when I get back from holiday. |
